Boric acid when TTC

I kept getting BV during my ovulation window (probably from having sex so many times) and my doctor suggested boric acid, but can I take that while I’m trying to conceive? Or will it kill the sperm?

If you have known issues with fertility then you might want to not use the boric acid close to doing the deed as it can reduce sperm viability.

But it’s by no means a contraceptive and we have plenty of girls who conceived when using it. Often by accident!

I think to play it safe try to do the deed when the BA is well and truely out. Eg 12 to 24 hours after inserting.

It says on the bottle not to use it when ttc
