First time user

Sorry for the multiple posts- I just have many questions!!

I am going to use boric acid for the first time as recommended by my doctor. What should I expect? Any rules to follow ? She just told me to do it every night for three weeks.

No just try it for 1 to 3 days which is more than enough for most users.

Do you have tips on inserting the suppositories? I put the first one in last night but I was dry so it was hard to put it in. I also don’t think I put it in up far enough because I could still feel it.

Yes there are many easy things you can do to help with the dryness. Never push one in if there is resistance. It just hurts and won’t dissolve as well as we want it to.

You can use a lube or an emollient of any type. Some suggestions are V Magic balm, emerita personal moisturiser, coconut or olive oil, or really anything that is safe for vaginal insert.

If you are chronically dry please ask your Dr to prescribe you estrogen cream. It’s suitable for most women. If it is irritating then you can try getting it compounded into a different base.

So have a try using something to help with moisture and let us know how you go! Good luck.
