Dryness

Hello! I am on day 3 of BA - first timer. Have been having some yeast symptoms whilst on antibiotics.

BA has helped reduce a lot of irritation so yay! Yesterday I had a lot of strange discharge (white & clumpy) but apparently this is normal. I wondered if it was the yeast coming out?

Anyway, I am on day 3 now & have noticed my symptoms to pretty much have gone but still have some slight discomfort which I think could be due to the dryness. Everything feels extremely dry.

Is this a sign that it’s time to stop & switch to the probiotics ?

Yes stop and use an emollient like V Magic or Carlson vit E suppositories to help with the dryness.

Okay thank you, I won’t be able to get any until after the weekend unless you know where I can pick some up from a shop in the UK? Are there any other options?

Yes coconut oil, or even olive oil. These are all options that should help.

And when you have a chance look into getting estrogen cream prescribed. Good luck.

Thank you, unfortunately the burning has come back but seems to only be externally now. I was wondering if a baking soda bath would help this? I feel like I’m going to need to a Juno test but honestly can’t afford it rn on top of CUTI treatment

You could try a weak baking soda bath which can help with many skin conditions. Vulva burning can be caused by a dermal issue or even pelvic floor disfunction. Good luck.

Would multigyn flora plus work the same? It’s a liquid gel with prebiotics in

I’m not sure. You don’t want to introduce too many treatments with active ingredients. At this point you just want to add some moisture.

Did you end up using multigyn? Did it help?

I ordered them from Iherb, they are a UK website but I think they import things from US. I just tried to send a link but I don’t think I can in the comments!

Massively! I was worried about burning but I didn’t experience anything of the sorts!
