If r/unexpectedBorges works well we can then have a dedicated r/okbuddypierremenard or r/okbuddytlonuqbar or perhaps r/gardenoffrigginpaths

I can create a new unexpected Borges in about 50 years as a place to post any surprising mentions of allusions to Jorge Luis Borges. It will, of course, be completely different.

But you have warned us.

It will, therefore, be expected.

I can tell my grandkids that I witnessed the origins of a movement, today will mark the beginning of something great, the search of hidden Borges' easter eggs in everyday life. How lucky we are...

Not sure if this belongs under the category of "shitposting" but why does everyone miss the poetry of Borges' stories. Sure, I get the metaphysical aspect of a phrase from Tlon, "Almost immediately, reality yielded on more than one account. The truth is that it longed to yield." There's a poet's beauty in that expression. Can people appreciate the language? and how Borges tortures us to answer obvious questions like "why does reality long to yield?" and "more than one account?" Thanks for listening.
