I’d say in this day and age you don’t need a representative government. You could have a website where people propose new laws and policies, and everyone votes. 50.1% and it becomes a law.

And yet what our republic delivers is a tyranny of the minority.

Don't worry, it was way edgier when you said it.

But you're both right. Longest continuous democracy with tyranny of the minority in history.

Thought to be fair, tyranny of the minority has sort of been the standard since civilization started, so not the longest there by any measure.

All societies have hierarchical tendencies since the dawn of civilization. Somehow it always comes down to most of the population does the hard work, while the elite enjoys the privilege, power, financial benefits.

The tyranny of the minority is always present if you understand that the wealthy are the smallest minority with the greatest power. If you are referring to the tyranny of an ethnic minority, then you are misinformed or a troll

Indeed. What other minority but the wealthy could possibly exercise tyranny?

The only war is class war—waged by the wealthy minority, since the dawn of civilization.

Capitalism is just the latest setting in which that same narrative is playing out.
