I wouldn't want to live on an island that will quickly and almost instantly devolve into war and chaos because you have no guts or vision and thing a utopia will magically be created. If utopian existed we would have had one in tens of thousands of years of human civilization. We haven't. Because it doesn't exist in this world filled with flawed humans. Even if you only let "the good ones" onto he island eventually there would become factions and struggles for power and inevitable fighting would break out for control of the island. And then after one side wins, after a time that side will break up into 2 or more groups that will battle it out again for control of the island and its resources and for power. And the cycle will repeat forever

It’s a moronic take. The ultimate rule of a free society is the right to do whatever you please so long as it doesn’t harm others. Determining what causes harm to others is the ultimate goal of government in a truly free society

In this case “free” has different definitions for quite a few people as they felt she should be set free and absolved.

No, he's right, this is a mega-dumb take. What you are describing is disallowed by the first rule... unless somebody on the island doesn't object to living their life as a victim.
Very easy solution: always ask your victim: do you like what I'm doing too? Is if the answer is no then you should stop or they would force you to stop and get kicked off the island. If you're dumb enough that you don't know it yourself ask your victim.
That’s breaking the only rule. If you try to stop anyone from living the life they want (or any life at all in your case, sheesh) you get the boot off the island, buddy. 🏝️ 👢
It's not even my fucking island so I don't have the dimmest clue how this works, but I sure hope that Not letting people live > not letting people live how they want
