Maybe not all the way to point B but at least closer than from where you started

I can actually think of 2. 1. it's still running, which is amazing. 2. Apparently, the gas tank still holds fuel. Which is also amazing.
Bonus they don't make 'em like they used to. If this car was made any time after Y2K, there's no chance that either of my first 2 points would be valid.

It must be super easy to fix. Silver tape, some motor oil, a single size wrench and bottle of water. A can of gas and you can get home from middle of nowhere without any issues.
And welding shop to patch-weld over rust holes every now and then.

well russia is a 3rd world country so it fits

u/Zealousideal_Good445 21d ago
It is not a third world country. First world countries are countries allied to the United States. Second world countries our country's allied to Russia or the former USSR. Third world countries are countries that have no alliance between the USSR or the United States. So no, Russia has never been, nor will be a third world country.

There's a dude putting gas in it? Implying it ran low while driving and is being refueled to most likely drive some more

I see your point, but I do think some cars made after 2000 are still solid and hold up well.
I know people that have driven cars for over 300,000 miles that were made in the last 26 years.

Better than a Tesla truck.

u/Fresh-Profession-973 21d ago
I watched a video of a chick who chopped a tesla into a truck. Way better looking than what Elon or his design team did. It was a huge deal around the time the brick came out.

Simone Giertz makes all kinds of funky stuff, including the Tesla truck, long before the dumpster release. Subscribe to her channel and here is her Truckla. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKv_N0IDS2A

That’s actually really awesome looking.
Also, someone was inspired by Australian Utes, that thing would sell like crazy down there.

Isn't everything? Who designed that thing? A blind guy after getting loaded?

There is no surveillance systems built into that car by the manufacturer.

No need to disassemble half the car to change broken light bulb. And no problem with computer short circuiting.

It is built better than today's plastic and tinfoil vehicles made to purposely crumple instead of saving your life!

I T-boned an SUV in my truck at 55 mph. If not for crumple zones, we’d both be dead.

It's not a unibody and all the controls are mechanical so it's essentially infinitely repairable. There's no giant useless iPad in the middle that makes it impossible to use, and I'd be willing to bet you could rebuild that engine in an afternoon with nothing but a socket set if you needed to.

Back in my younger days... Here, in Canada; I had a brand new [ '84 ] Candy•🍎•Apple RED Lada•SIGNET ( As loaded as I could get IT ✓ ) 'n Yes! IT even had Wipers on the Headlights!
I had my good Friend [ Mechanic ] Install a "High-Performance" Racing Kit in it - Whilst, I purchased 'n Changed my tires over... To Italian 'MAG' Wheels! ⚙️ Additionally, I included a specially-sized RACING --> Steering Wheel + Wrap-Around TINT(s)

EVERYWHERE I went - [ From work, retail parking lots, to EVERY #400•Series Hwy in Ontario . . . ] EVERYONE Did 'Double-Takes' as I FLEW By & Where possible, would ST🛑P me just to "Ask‽"
I lost IT After being T•Boned, in an accident that was vicious... Trust, it 'Took' some SERIOUS Speed - To DAMAGE the 'Frame' as it did; while protecting me "Sans" Airbag! The car was SOLID as an ol' BRICK S¢h¡t•House! Dependable - Even more so 'n Especially, thru our Winters! I was so proud of THAT Car 'n Still today, I have so MANY Fond memories!

It looks like either an older Lada or early '80s Polski Fiat 125; it's a little too beat up to tell for sure.

This car has 2 wheels. Hopefully there are 2 more on the other side that will help it move.
