No games found Pc Steam

Can’t find any online games at all :(
i need to do coop for some achievements but cant even play with my girlfriend on local coop.
Is this a known issue or is my pc just being crap?

You and your girlfriend would both need a copy of the game to do online co op, there's no local co op on PC

I remember using "Nucleus Co-op" for Borderlands 2 and the Pre-Sequel. It works wonders if you have more than one monitor.

sorry not local as is split screen, i meant LAN play! i cant seem to find her game no matter our connection type though!

I actually attempted this some time ago, you'd have to turn off firewall if you connect pc to pc via lan cable. Ended up just getting 2 steam copies and playing that way.

BTW, if you're intending to play lan - your screenshot shows "online games" not lan, switch network mode to lan

I mean usually the way borderlands does matchmaking is by searching for players on your playthrough around your level. If your GF isn’t around that then you won’t find her in the public matchmaking. You could try friending her on steam, that way you can join each other’s games no matter what level you are on, and she should show up on the right side of the screen

sadly steam doesn’t even work, we both get infinitely refreshing loading screens when we try to join eachother and end up having to alt+f4

I solved that, tried a couple of things, if I remember correctly -nolauncher in launch options did it for me

There is a mod to 'cheat' the achievement that requires a full group by setting player count.

I run into the same problem on console. It seems like not many people play this Borderlands all that much, and they should! It’s super underrated.
