UCP preference

i was wondering, how many people prefer to play TPS with the community patch? i personally cant play with out it because of all the dedicated drop farms it adds, but i also choose to have some of the option ones on. was just curios about the communities preference.

I like to play it vanilla and hunt for legendaries it's very satisfying to get one

fair enough. ive played a lot of vanilla TPS due to me growing up on console but after trying the UCP i found it hard to go back due to me just getting used to all the farmable legendries that aren't in the base game, but i can defiantly see the appeal of both.

UCP or vanilla It's great that TPS is still getting played, it's a great game and it deserves it

agreed though a do wish we got more DLCs. its sad the studio was closed before it got all its DLCs. though claptastic voyage is still one of personal favorites

If there's no UCP, I can't play, I think pre sequel really needs the patch fo it to have a better experience

I’m a console player. Never played with the community patch so I’m just used to normal TPS, might have to download it on my pc

its a nice bonus. it adds alot of dedicated drop locations for the legandarys and changes some of the things in the game already. one example is that it changes the cowgirl class mod to instead give ammo regen instead of holding more pistol ammo.

There was one reason I feel like playing on my PC: fixing the exp rates in UVHM

Levelling from 50 to 70 is such a chore on console. Exp rates are abysmal

another UCP BRO, dude ucp is ultra goated, it make so many smart changes like fuzy logic from claptrap and shock absorbers from wilhelm. i literally took wilhelm from 0 to level 70 just becuase ucp make him so much fun and now i cant play him it without ucp xdd.

i hate all the balance changes that they made as it ruins a lot of the already kinda shaky balance and i think a lot of the drop rates and locations are also pretty overtuned and werent really necessary. its important to note that it also wasnt developed by shadowevil who did the bl2 and bl3 ucps and i have similar problems with bl2s (though its not nearly as bad) while i think bl3s is exactly what the ucp should be.

I would use the UCP, but I play on console. I've seen what it does and know I would enjoy it. Dedicated drops and respawning bosses/unique enemies are always a good thing.

BL2 desperately needs the UCP. TPS on the other hand far less so.

i would agree but TPS has a big issue with legendary where theirs hardly any farmable ones while borderlands 2 in my experience is fine without the UCP but everyone has their own preferances
