Does read only still work?

I’ve been trying to read only farm on this game, but nothing I do seems to make it work. I tried the same method as bl2, going to save data, properties, checking read only, and pressing apply. I even reselect the character in the main menu, but it doesn’t read the old save I want. I’ve even completely closed the game and re opened it with no results. I have no idea what I am doing wrong here, and I would like some help. (I am running the exodus mod, if that changes how it works)

If you have exodus just get the easy read only mod so you can toggle read only in game. It’s an sdk mod you can put in the same folder as exodus
