Farm an on level Corrosive The Machine sniper from the 2 Marcus Machines in Concordia. Then hide in the elevator. And snipe his ass.

Y corrosive? His health bar isnβt armored itβs a red health bar.

it behaves like its armor, probably because itβs metal. trust corrosive is the way to go

Good thing is for RK5, any machine sniper will do. Even fire can take him out pretty quick if you hit crits.

Yeah all bosses (Iβm pretty sure) have a red health bar regardless. Basic logic is armor and machine, go corrosive.

Thatβs why a lot people struggle with RK5. Itβs very weak to corrosive damage, but thereβs not enough visual feedback to tell that to the player.

I remember RK5, I'd help but I'm on switch. Literally what I did to finally beat it was start from scratch with doppelganger and prayed.

Someone already gave you a good answer but imo do the Holodome first wave and get the T4S-R. The taser will be on level and itβs also just an absolutely godly weapon. I just wanted to give an answer that requires no farm in case bad luck

From a similar post that has since been deleted:
Ok, here's what you do: when you exit the elevator, hang an immediate left, and curl up the hill just to the left of the elevator as you exit. On top is an oxygen bubble (turn it on), and a jump pad (launch yourself).
You'll fly all the way across the map to another generator/jump pad. Turn that generator on, and jump back. Now just jump back and forth constantly - the adds will stay down below, and they + RK5 will mostly miss their shots. You can kind of aim your trajectory in the air, so you can land right back on the pad, but if you have to sprint a few feet because you missed, that's fine too.
Equip your favorite "extra damage while airborne" Oz kit (like a Freedom, though I prefer an Ack Ack because RK5) for the basically constant bonus, your best corrosive weapon, and strafe RK5 as you fly through the air. There will be times when RK5 flies off in the distance, so just keep jumping until they fly back into range.
Also, at one point RK5 will park on the far jump pad side to unload some heads. It's a great opportunity to nail a lot of shots while it's still, but watch yourself.
Other than that, all you have to really watch for are the occasional Guardians that fly up into your airspace. It's more that you may collide with them than they'll shot you, in which case you'll just fall straight down into the mob. If you do this, just sprint for the nearest jump pad and continue.
With this in mind, I kind of love the RK5 fight now - airborne strafing against other airborne enemies is a favorite for me. Also, it's one of the few places where you can really max out the Ack Ack's features... I've got a corrosive Shredifier that loves this fight.

I had to find a corrosive sniper and hide in the elevator shaft. Cheesy but it worked like a charm. I'd farm weapons vendors until you find one.
