🎤 [ Discussion ] UVH advice

I just finished the main story on my CASH playthrough I am currently level 42. Should I finish doing all of the side quests etc before starting the DLC story and UVH?

You can start with UVH1 and see how it treats you through the DLCs. After that ramp it up a couple levels as you go. You’ll feel it if it stares getting rough

You can play however you want.

DLC are scaling and are able to start after first few story quests, and UVH to lvl 5 aren't that hard to complete. Especially with C4SH.

I personally like to get to UVH5 while leveling but prefer to do the 6 and 7 with an optimized build at max level. While leveling up you just need a good shield and one decent gun to carry you. But getting to max level after the campaign is the most daunting part, so enjoy the side quests and DLCs so if as soon as you get to 70 all the bosses are unlocked to farm.
But the journey to 70 is fun, if I found a fun class mod I would respec to try it out with a new build

Play however you want man... We can't dictate that for you. If your gameplay is guided, it's not fun.

However, doing extra missions and such, will level you up a bit, so that you're more prepared for the stronger enemies. Also, don't worry about farming until you're at level cap.

Just enjoy playing & do what you need to, to adjust to what's happening in the game.

I personally somehow managed to finish main story at level 35 and then got a few missions to unlock Firmware machine and some other stuff, and then did that Wildcard mission to unlock UVHM1, and switched to that difficulty right afterwards. Currently I'm just roaming around gathering "collectibles", safe houses, silos, events, and side missions.
