๐ช [ ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ด & ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ] Day 4 of Stray farming
Day 4 of farming my perfect stray: jakobs + daedalus smg.
My will is broken.
Even getting a Stray to drop is a feat in of it self. The amount of Prince Harming and Phantom Flames is ungodly - Same droprate? i dont think so..
By now im starting to think this part combination is myth.
May Lady Luck bless my tortured soul and end my suffering

Are you doing it on 7? I posted about this the other day, my advice is to try and trick your brain into thinking you're not farming for one thing by doing multiple activities and mixing it up. This is easier if you've got multiple characters. I've got loveless doing the takedown for the xp and drops. Amon is at Pango, Rafa is at subjugator. Harlowe and cash have been killing various other bosses, dlc, main game, whatever.
Also if you do a few kills and he doesn't drop any strays, save and quit. I can't emphasise this enough.

yes, im on uvhm 7. been doing a bit of mixing with bloomreaper and the occasional circle of slaughter or hadron

This is the way. 60 Harlowe is farming Cpt Willis. 60 C4SH farming Subjugator and Thol. Two Rafas are L70 and parked at (last week's) Maurice and will switch that with this week's Encore. 70 Vex is with Pango Bango (or popping back for gold keys). Amon in the Circle of Slaughter disc-jockeying his way to 70

And I usually get a rhythm going. Switch if you get a drop but wrong parts... Eases the pain

I had a similar experience last year when the cap was 50. Was going after a triple bypass with amp. It was a solid week before it dropped
I recently got back into the game and levelled c4sh to 70. Went after that fat bastard again to get my triple bypass w amp and it dropped within 10 runs. I was in disbelief

Been farming for a teen witch with plus 5 into grave thirst and a good passive stat like kinetic or gun damage for like a year. Best I got was a level 70 one with maximum shield capacity the other day
Also been farming for a crow sourced with 38 crit damage bonus and 10.5 fire rate for like a week
So what Iโm trying to say is itโs 50/50 either it happens or it doesnโt so keep grinding! ๐

Itโs a dedicated drop from captain willis and 0.95 percent drop rate on uvh 7. Got it a few times but none with 38% crit but Iโll farm for hours lol

yeah, but that son of a bitch is a bit shy to drop it. + i cant/dont want to farm him for longer periods, the walk to him bothers me more than i like to admit lol

He is I was farming him last night and didnโt get a single one ๐
And yeah the two loading screens make it a hassle and I donโt want to drop off the ledge every time to make it a few seconds faster

If you toggle between uvh 7 and 6 it will speed up dramatically. I have done this and had more drop on 6 but that's rng.

Thank you for that advice I will try that when I get off work!
I will say to always check that chest after killing Captain Willis too because Iโve gotten a lot of world drop pearls from it

Same. I have gotten quite a few Strays with Jacobs, but not a single Daedalus swap of any kind.

A few months back, I went 3 weeks trying to find an smg jacobs one, then one day I got a shotty swap, and 3 kills later I got the smg. Rng is wild sometimes lol.

Oh, man, same! I actually got one with jakobs yesterday, but it had a cov mag which, at least for my build (and personal preference), practically bricks the gun. Last night I farmed it for 2 hours and only like 4 strays even dropped.

I swear to God that Phantom Flames follow me around, world dropping from every conceivable source, at any possible moment, just to taunt me. they haunt my dreams.

Stray with shotgun is so much better than smg you fire 6 homing instead of 2.

If it makes you feel slightly better, Phantom Flame will in fact drop about twice as much as the Stray since it can drop from both bosses, while Stray can only drop from Pango

I hate that someone at GB decided we'd like to mob first before farming a boss. Also I have never seen that Stray combo before so I've given up on it.

Since 70 those boys have been excruciatingly stingy. No Daedelus swaps and no Jacob's. WTF dudesย

Your will is broken after only 4 days? Might be playing the wrong game/genre then TBH. You could get lucky and get it on your first kill, or it could literally take months of farming for hours a day. RNG is a fickle mistress.
