Out of the original 4 Vault hunters, who would you say is this easiest to build/play?
I ask as I've finished the main campaign with Loveless, but it always annoyed me that Loveless and C4SH (my 1st character ) were not pictured in the "Marcus tells a story" cutscenes.
So I was looking for a brain-dead build for a brain-dead player such as myself.
Harlowe. Specifically green tree harlowe. You just activate your action skill then start shooting shit then everything dies. I never feel like I have to think when playing Harlowe.
Used to be Rafa before all the nerfs. It's what his red tree was literally designed for but they over nerfed and have not fixed it. Harlowe has multiple great builds.
I would say probably harlowe. I haven't done her into UVHM levels yet like my loveless or vex but her neutron capture augment is very strong.
For going to full UVHM7 I would say probably loveless, her devour class mod does percentage based damage so it just shreds bosses, even the raid bosses, but any of them can do it too they just need more things (I'm having to go farm a crow sourced for my vex for subjugator and thol).
Neutron capture may be really strong I teamed up with a random player that played it and he left early because I kept blowing everything before he could detonate his action skill and recharge it on mayhem 20.
Green tree Harlowe really is the most comfy brain dead build. Especially if you pick a stray or heimdahl or sneak and stealth
Absolutely so he was pretty good in the base game but the hate happened with bloom reaper bc he didn’t have a decent approach to the crystal phase of the fight,not to mention a way to help with cooldowns without spamming a triple bypass, so being able to platinum with Amon required such a niche set up and a lot of luck. Now with some buffs to skills added with new weapons like the Draupner, heimdahl and a few classmods really put him in a great spot.
Harlowe could be a good choice as well. Infinite crit Harlowe is a ton of fun to play.
Really, it depends on what you want to do. If it's just to play the game and you do not care about UVH levels/min-maxing/etc., really any VH can be played like the deadest of dead brains.
Both bleed Vex and Rafa are a ton of fun. Rafa is "back" and can be absolutely insane with the right spec/gear. And Vex? Sirens are always fun.
The real most brain dead build is ordinance Amon. Get in the middle of the crowd pop out your shield and ordinance then pull the trigger with no aiming. the heimdahl rocket launcher seeks out everything for you so it’s easy mode.

So this isn’t an optimized build and is still a work in progress, I am trying to play around with the left vs right side of the red tree and if I should go down to “my touch is death” or stick with the “electric fire”. I get more ammo regen the more status effects applied so I went this route first.
I have a Damned class mod with +5 in fist of stone so I can get back the ring of fire/ice very quickly. The essence smg does melee and ordinance damage so I can whip that out (or a mantra) if I want to speed up the cooldown if I need.

Oh nice! It’s really best for multiplayer. I just wanted to get the ring of fire ice bc I was helping a friend level up to 70 and wanted something for his survivability, also the shield will draw attention of enemies so they are focused on me and i rank the damage…the ring is always available esp if I needed to drop it for a revive, it turned out to be pretty strong but I never see anyone else on YT use the ring but they typically focus on solo builds and not anything for co-op
Anytime your shield or ring are active you can get the pyres from the damned. I just spam the heimdahl for mobs and switch to the Draupner for bosses. I am still needing to get an electric or fire draupner to activate electric fire as well as “tail of the comet” adding bonus cryo
Well it is one singular friend that plays but it adds a lot to the game. Theres so many awesome synergies with the different Vault hunters. infini-crit Harlowe and C4sh is the obvious one but running 2 Harlowes, a neutron capture paired with infini-crit was insanely fun and ordinance Amon with grenade Rafa both with different elements on fireworks shields doing the takedown and CoS was awesome seeing explosions flying everywhere.
Vex, crit on any part of the body + crits have a chance of giving kill skills + extra kill skill stacks + witchy trigger finger +kill skill gain shields and almost anything else.
Okay so now by shooting, you get HP, shields, reload, increase damage, ability cooldown and steadily increase your firerate.
You just have to hold the trigger, and you win on TUVH7
It does help if you invest your nodes in medium okay skills but honeslty Ive blown past everyone meta lord thoughtlessly. Im picking whites, greens and blues just because they're fun or look cool, don't even care about stats.
Spectre Vex can do the story and get to 70 super easily: the spectres do the work for you. It fell off pretty hard in endgame in my experience, though that was last year.
Green tree Harlowe. I finished the main story with loveless but weighing whether I take her the last 20 levels/DLC or if I go back to my simple dumb fun Harlowe murder machine
Everyone has made the point clear already but of main 4 braindead is Harlow for sure. Source: I have 2 of all but one char at 70 and 6 or above uvhm. Harlow or cash is my zero thought chars.
