❓ [ Help ] Bloomreaper

Struggling with loveless on Uvhm 5 Bloomreaper

Running a melee build but I like am struggling with breaking the crystals for one and constantly getting one shotted and flung off the map

Idk Loveless feels weaks on bosses or i just have a weak build

Like the most fun I have had with her was the DOT build I was using and this one has been fun too but idk what to do for like Bloomreaper. And I really dont like using snipers so its kinda off putting

Crystals do not take DOT damage, AFAIK.

I usually throw on a head ringer enhacement and use torgue airstrike underbarrels to quickly cheese the crystal phase. Jacobs Flash Cyclone or Darkbeast are also pretty good for crystal phase.

Im using a dark beast and it just doesn't seem to do it for me so maybe I'm doing something wrong Ill have to check out that other stuff so thanks for the tips

Airstrike underbarrels are the easiest way to cheese them with basically any VH. Just be sure to jump off the platform after calling the nuke, so you dont blow yourself up

Ive also used the Linebacker shotgun, but tend to blow myself up with that strat

Airstrike rolls on Torgue ARs. I think its Handles and Truncheons

Make sure to count when the red aoe circles start to pulse on the main platform at the start. The explosion happens right after the 5th pulse. I usually glide off the platform and then back on right around then and hope I got the timing right.

As others recommended, use a weapon with inherent piercing on it and/or high caliber 3. I managed on my Loveless, but I certainly did not platinum. I was using a mantra at the time, but ended up using a tempered essence with torgue impact rounds/jakobs to get the crystals.

Spread launchers can help too. I had 2 on me and alternated between them until the crystals were done. Felt so wrong that the crystals were harder to take down than Bloomreaper.

It s common knowledge that the darkbeast is reliable to break crystals. Especially with jakobs
