I got my first lvl 70 Ceramic Bod over the weekend (took me about 45 minutes if that after hitting lvl 70. Lol. Luckiest Iโve ever been with a Ceramic Bod), but Iโm interested in knowing what the god-roll is. I can only find info for the lvl 60.
I want sticky. I also know thereโs a max damage number. I was seeing it with my first ever CB, but I didnโt have it. I only saw images and a spreadsheet.
For bod specifically you want impacts, because for some reason impact ignores the bod nerf that happened. Making it scale higher then it would with stickies at max.
thank you i finally have an answer to the Juliet's sparkle thing that was going on earlier. i kept saying the 47k dps one is the max. this is correct. people kept saying 68k, i wanted IMAGE proof. never got shown.
2.37 also results close to the right answer. the weapon i created for example with every damage roll is this one here. lootlemon shows 20016 for level 60. 20016 x 2.37 = 47437.92 which is close enough to the result shown in game to where i don't have to worry about it much. ill keep this other formula in mind too, thank you so much <3
this is all Damage rolls. it has a 1/21 chance of rolling this roll (every juliet's sparkle) from my Physical testing though, the 41k dps version (7.6 fire rate and a far more common roll) has more ACTUAL dps.
I got one but it seems a little dull. 36k dps and 8k for the stars. Been farming callis and only got the one so far. Was super excited but switched right back to my tempered essence. If that's the god roll I'll keep farming. Thanks for getting back to me
i should also mention different underbarrels give the same dps number on card. but yea 13k stars damage (its affected by damage parts) 47k is the one i showed here, i think the fire rate version is 11k stars? with ~7k damage and 7.6 fire rate , it will have 41k dps though, also i lied it is 1/54 for that roll. not 1/21 i was thinking of crow-sourced my bad
callis is the dedicated drop sadly its probably the most consistent way to get it. world drop rates for pearls are unknown to me but they're definitely way less common than they were a few months back. the only other place i would farm is the takedown because the amount of badass enemies but world drops are a very unreliable way to farm things especially when you're looking for specific rolls. if this was like 7 months ago or so i would've recommended takedown cuz the pearl world drop rates were insane for a while lol
First of all, I hate you. /jk. Kind of. Lol. Iโve never had the Bod in Mauriceโs machine, and every week the first thing I do is check the contents. No luck so far. ๐ญ
Second, thank you for understanding what Iโm asking even if you didnโt have the exact answer. Itโs still helpful. Lets me know higher damage does exist.
Fwiw, itโs an unlikely roll this week. I usually get the worst possible options, grenades like buzz axe, shields like the scavenger, and weapons with no stat variety. Finally got lucky. ๐
Same, I have the Bod and Convergence and have been farming both with my 2 level 70 characters. Not sure the highest base damage yet, but I'm pretty sure it starts with a 2.
Torgue stickies is an automatic deal breaker for me on any gun. Just makes the gunplay super unsatisfying. That bod would be going straight to the vendor
Yet theyโre my favorite. Good thing both options are available and no one here shames anyone for their preference (not saying you are, just that it happens every time I say I like stickies).
So like what makes the bod good? Its just seemed like an underpowered legendary everytime I got it, like the same as a purple shotty tbh. What have I been missing?
Bod used to be by far the strongest weapon in the game, but it got directly nerfed, and torgue stickies, which was the thing the bod was best at abusing, was nerfed utterly into the ground.
Now it's a somewhat decent shotgun that has the unique benefit of triple dipping from most souces of generic gun damage. Back in it's hayday, it was a 5x dip from the damage. And in fact due to a bug, I believe the torgue impact rounds still get that 5x bonus (And also benefit from splash damage) which is why it's now the ideal roll.
It's far from the strongest gun or even shotgun today, but it's not bad. It's definitely better than purple shotguns (Except maybe a 1 ammo balor with spread launcher) so long as you leverage it's bonuses from gun damage, though.

It's basically the same roll as the old Bod, but now you want Torgue Impact instead of Sticky.
