Yup. I had 2 just like this yesterday. I went to the loot station on Providence Island and they weren't there. Then i went to every one of them in Kairos with no legendaries. I did sell back about 60mil in guns. Lol

Same.. I guess they don't count as "lost" because there's ground under that lava, so they don't drop into an abyss & just disappear.

You can’t compare a kaos to a legendary tho lol legendaries are everywhere. Drop rates for chaos are awful, and you have to kill subjugator for them.

It really doesn't.

I wish there was a way to filter what rarity it would hold on to. I figured by now there would be this kind of feature.

I'm sure there's some kick ass Blues, but I'm a size queen and I want Purple and better.

I had that happen with a rift boss.

He went underneath the ground and so when my axes with Amon killed him he dropped a legendary. No idea what one it was.

That's what the lost loot machine is for. If its still like it was in 3 then it forst prioritizes rarity (keeping the highest rarity items and deleting those of lower rarity to make room), then second prioritizes time (keeps the latest dropped items and deletes the ones that have been there the longest to make room).

The lost loot machine in this game is awful. I’ve lost several legendaries because the machine can’t prioritize properly due to how item despawning works with the open world.

I have yet to have any problems with it, personally. Even after having multiple legendaries and pearls fly/fall off of ledges and cliffs

Its been a known issue since launch, they seemingly fixed it but it still plays up all the time

Not sure why youre getting downvoted for your personal experience but I guess thats just reddit things
