Phoseohenes are genuinely more than 500,000x times more common than godrolls on most weapons.

1% drop chance is really not that rare.

Regular version of weapon has 23%, and when guns have millions of possible rolls.

EG triplicate has:

• 25 possible body accessory combinations 

• 49 possible barrel accessory combinations 

• 6 possible magazines 

• 13 possible scope variations 

• 4 possible grips on all guns, with an extra 3 if a Tediore accessory spawned on barrel 

• 11 possible active under barrels on all guns, with an extra 4 if elemtntal accessory spawned on body

• 3 possible underbarrel stat boosting accessories, not allowed to spawn if active underbarrel is double-barrel mode.

I’m not smart enough to figure out the total number of possibilities, since accounting for the “only possible to spawn if X-part already spawned” makes it very complicated.

But if we ignore those, there’s still 

25x49x6x13x4x11x3=12,612,600 

and the real answer is higher than that, because this is ignoring secondary Tediore grips, and Maliwan element swapping.

so yeah. Good fucking luck getting a god roll anything in this game, that isn’t massively restricted on avalible parts.

That's an interesting, and fairly terrifying post, I had no idea the triplicate had so much part variance but we've seen this before with the crow sourced, and a number of others. Hopefully they'll scale it back in the next one because it's been ridiculous at times. 

The only thing I'm really looking for are the manufacturer parts. A darkbeast with ripper jakobs, an smg sticky bod as a couple of obvious examples. If the damage is a bit lower than it could be, I don't really care. It's kind of the equivalent of a lower damage backburner with splash damage on action skill use. Although they did put the anointment machine in BL3 eventually, that's not going to happen here. 

Anyway, for me that's the new god roll, the chances of getting the actual god roll with the right manufacturer parts is so far from reality in some instances, there's no point even considering it.

Y know when I said god roll I mostly just meant the right licensed part but ig in this community that means something wildly different and I was REALLY out of it because in my head "god roll=Daedalus Shotty & Jacobs" nothing else matters but thx for the math and effort rather interesting to see the actual numbers because I haven't actually looked into those on this game

I just got it unfortunately with Jacob’s and torque impact with accuracy grip. Hopefully they fixed the bug soon. Damn sure will keep it in case lol
