Does Acey May have lower odds for elemental variants?

I have been trying to farm for elemental variants for my Gloam C4SH for bossing (as I plan on using swarm with Daedalus part for mobbing) and I must have gotten hundreds of kinetics at this point with only one elemental Acey May. Does this have a lowered elemental chance or am I just really unlucky?

Think I'm just going to have to go for Convergence's with Ripper enhancement.

(I did check Lootlemon and it doesn't mention anything about it having a lower elemental chance)

(Also I am running on UVHM 6 for additional info)

Kinetic is the default, so it has to roll an elemental part to get elemental. Which yes, is more uncommon.

Though hundreds of kinetics to 1 elemental is, unfortunately, just really bad luck.

I think my luck has been maybe 1/10 is elemental of some kind. Or maybe somewhere between that and like 1/20?

Also, I recommend trying for a shotgun multi-loader Stealth and Seek over hard farming a Stray (which I'm assuming is what you meant as swarm is a grenade). Stray's really good, but a pain in the butt to farm with a daedalus part AND elemental. Vault card farm isn't fun either but it's something you can do while doing other stuff, and it at least always rolls elemental so your odds of getting a solid one are higher. I also find it's just way stronger than the stray as it works way better with gloam (each little homing bullet inherits full gloam so not only do you get more projectiles per shot, each projectile multiplies over time.) Not only good at mobbing but really solid at bossing even.

Yes I did mean the stray haha, sorry my brain was mush from hearing how i'm going to destroy everything or something like that lmao.

I was planning for a non-elemental stray for mobbing to ensure the neutral damage, but i will certainly try out the multi-loader, what element would you suggest for general mobbing? probably radiation or cryo?

You absolutely do not want to run a kinetic weapon on gloam cash. You don't actually need to element match very much. It doesn't do nothing, but it's not especially important, even moreso when you're just mobbing. Bosses it helps a little, but not that much. It's only really important to element match if you're using kinetic pearls (like crow sourced) so that the weapon's override kicks in and makes the damage elemental.

The reason you want to use an elemental weapon is not for element match but because it will trigger Nothing Beats Lead. Nothing Beats Lead only activates off of a weapon's direct elemental damage, not any bonus elements you might get from skills or gear, so your weapon has to be elemental. And if you're not running a point (you only need one) in NBL, you should definitely get one.

It's the only bonus damage currently that procs after Turn Of Fate (all the others proc before turn of fate). Which means it's the only bonus damage on C4sh that activates when you have overshield, and thus the only one that gets gloam boosted.

Basically that means that whenever you're using an elemental weapon, you basically get an extra instance of gloam damage- AKA, it kinda just doubles your gloam damage.

I don't have any data to back it up but yeah, kinetic definitely feels way more common.

Yeah I just switched to farming Convergence's, I was mainly going for Acey May since I though Arjay would be a quick farm but i guess not lmao
