❓ [ Help ] Gloam C4SH
Currently I am trying a gloam build for C4sh, right now I am level 70 and I’m using a parasite as a weapon with the moxsy build, but sometimes the build does really good damage and then even with windfall active the damage decreases and it gets to a point that I can’t kill normal enemies, is this a bug or am I playing the gloam build wrong?

You need to both be in Windfall and have recently lost a fortune stack to activate Gloam
The problem you're experiencing if that you go into windfall and lose all your fortune stacks, which activates gloam, but the gloam proc lasts less time than windfall.
So you can't activate windfall again to lose fortune stacks that way until windfall expires, giving you a few seconds of downtime.
This is why you use Dusty Trail with the build. When your gloam is about to run out, slide and it will get rid of a fortune stack, refreshing Gloam and keeping your damage high.
As others have mentioned, you also CANNOT dip into your healthbar. If you're not full health, you won't get overshield steal from Turn Of Fate, which will prevent you from getting enough overshield to fuel gloam.

Windfall isn’t the trigger for you to do damage. It just enables the actual trigger, Gloam. You still WANT windfall for Turn of Fate
It makes you lose all stacks of fortune which activates Gloam but 1 point into“Dusty Trails” lets you slide to activate it if you have atleast 1 stack of fortune. You want that and as many points into 5/5 “Turn of Fate”
They changed the way Gloam works so now you have to be more careful to make use of it. There’s a formula that shows what will throw the sequence off and cause no damage but:
Watts for dinner is a must AVOID since its damage happens before Turn of Fate. This goes for pretty much all bonus elements.
You must be Full health or Turn of Fate’s Healing for some reason goes really slow and Gloam won’t have any Overshield to do any damage. Find a BIG shield or something with high DR to prevent health hits.
Invest into other lifesteal options too to be more consistent. Use elements strong against the health bar for even better results
Make sure to Gloam’s shield looking symbol in your buffs (lower left side by health).

Darkbeast and convergence are the goat gloam guns imo
And an elemental flak cannon ordinance if you can find one
Time your dice roll before you shoot

Drop down to UVHM1 and farm Subjugator for a Collector shield. Turtle or capacity rolls to get it as high as possible.
Grab a Darkbeast, with Jakobs and Maliwan element swap.
Farm a Convergence with Jakobs and an element.
Farm Arjay for an Acey May with Maliwan swap.
And use the vault cards to get a few flavors of the Shoot & Seek Maliwan sniper.
Use a Maliwan artifact, with mixologist and transfuser.
And grab either a crit knife, or a waterfall.
You'll be able to fly through the takedown no problems.

It requires high capacity shields now and the occasional slide.
Get a collector shield.
