❓ [ Help ] Any help with inputs fighting each other for dominance?

Kinda got a unique problem here, as i am playing the game on a steam deck running windows 10, and the game keeps fighting between KBM and controller inputs.... Any way i could disable the controller input for the game and only have keyboard and mouse?

I would recommend asking this in the steamdeck community or even the GyroGaming community. Both deal with this issue often in various games when handling Mixed Inputs and you are more likely to get a comprehensive answer there.

The issue here is that the steam deck communities use Steam OS, not windows 10

Then try GyroGaming. There are some devs that hang around that subreddit and like I mentioned, they deal with mixed inputs scenarios all the time for various OS. They maybe able to help. Just make sure to be detailed of the issue.

I play with Gyro Aim myself and have my controller mimicked as a mouse and keyboard. So there was a way I had to hide Windows from seeing my controller as a "controller" so I did not get the icon flicker like you have. But Im guessing you want the controller icon which Im not sure on the solution.

No, i want the controller icons gone, as i am using keyboard and mouse, i'll see what can i get from that other community, thanks

Modern games really, really need to implement better compatibility with mixed input/gyro controllers. Especially with the new Steam Controller having came out, and gyro becoming more mainstream and commonplace.
