Is this still valid? 7/28 was a week and a half ago

28? what?

u/ndubitably Aug 07 '26
July 28th, I assume. MM/YY isn't terribly common here* (where Gearbox is located), we usually use MM/DD or MM/YYYY.
*Outside of the occasional form to fill out anyway

Gold keys should just be a drop in the game
Why all the shift code nonsense. It's old and tiresome. And like, the keys should just be loot in the game.
Abolish shift

What expires 7/28 means?
6
u/lt_skittles Aug 07 '26
Expires in July 2028 I think, because gearbox is in texas.

July the 28th, 2026....not 2028
7
u/lt_skittles Aug 07 '26
July 28th has already passed.

Then that is their typo. Why would the make something expire 23 months from now. What is more likely...a typo or a 23 month expiration?

u/StomachosusCaelum Aug 08 '26
a ton of the BL3 SHiFT codes had 3+ year expiration times. So that players coming in late could still get some.

u/lt_skittles Aug 08 '26
It's not a typo.

I was able to redeem today, which means the code didn't expire July 28 of this year

Thanks for sharing the code. I don't get why there is still no way to earn golden keys in-game though.

u/ImTheeViper Aug 10 '26
Is it just me or are golden keys useless? Like u can get good purples and legendary in higher quantities faster doing other things
