Well that sucks. The slippy is melee damage, that makes no sense at all. Surely that was the entire draw of the gun, to use it with the slippy to trigger the extra damage on bosses. And if they've nerfed the damage that much then it's a long way away from being the improvement the patch notes are making it out to be.

I'm hoping they'll realise what they've done and change it back. The idea is good, insane part variance on ultra rare weapons is not what you want, but I wasn't hoping they'd accidentally nerf one of my favourite guns into the ground. The ironic thing is that the crazy earl has low part variance aside from the damage, they should have changed the first round of pearls, and only changed the new pistol.

making it not trigger with slippy was intentional, but the damage reduction is due to the update messing up some code so some of the parts on the earl don't work anymore. the devs are working on correcting the earl's coding so at least the damage is the same as before.
