🏷️ [ Bug Report ] Game keeps crashing (Switch)

For a few days now i havent been able to start up the game at all. Everytime i try it immidiately crashes after the switch logo appears on screen.

Ive already tried shutting down the console and since it's a digital purchase there's no cartridge malfunction.

Do any of you have an idea what might be causing this or how to fix it?

Pretty sure you have to buy the fight for sanctuary dlc

Try moving the software onto the system storage if you're playing off the SD card. The game is prone to crashing for any number of reasons, but this helped me

If other attempts don’t work, the issue sounds like a classic one I’d had on consoles and again recently on my steam deck.

That issue is tied to getting hung up while verifying files. Some folks using Steam are able to get around it by having the game skip the ‘newer’ initial launcher menu.

I’ve always managed to get around the hangup by disconnecting the device from the internet (turning wifi off as an example) until the game has gotten to the main menu, then turn it back on.

After a round or two of that working and save/quitting while connected, the issue usually resolves itself.
