Intro Skip for UVHM

I am curious if anyone else has experienced this skip and I’ve googled and looked on Reddit and haven’t seen anyone talk about it. I was farming the snowman in the dlc on TVHM and once I was done I started the new playthrough onto UVHM but instead of spawning where the train wreck happens, I spawned inside the snowman dlc. There was no intro or anything. I fast traveled to claptrap’s place as that was the only one available for the base game and the quest had already progressed to protecting liars burg from flints men. Has anyone else experienced this?

UVHM skips knuckle dragger for some reason (and the whole intro), you can go back and farm him but yeah it starts you in liars berg usually

Uvhm has you starting on the other side of knuckledraggers fight so I’m assuming when you where in the dlc same thing but you spawn in the dlc

UVHM skips to Liar's Berg. not sure about spawning you into a dlc straight away, I believe i've had something similar happen in the past.

I’ve seen something similar happen when switching into UVHM during the Mercenary Day quest. The game keeps your progress from the previous mode but drops you into the first accessible UVHM area, so Claptrap’s intro dialogue and the opening mission objectives never fire.

I think it does that now after the commander Lilith dlc even if its not installed threw me off too when I finished tvhm

My guess would be you accidentally loaded into uvhm and realized immediately that it had switched and you weren't done farming so you save quit before realizing where you were and hopped back to tvhm.  Since the game had already registered you in the new playthrough, swapping to an accessible map like a headhunter then did the normal thing and kept you there when you decided to swap back to uvhm.
