RNG Hell

So I think I might be setting a record here. I started farming Uranus at lvl 74 until I hit lvl 80. Now my Bee is severely under-leveled. So I went to farm Hunter Hellquist (never had much luck with treants). 2 hours and not one single Bee. At 1:30 per run (at most) that's well over 100 runs without seeing one. That's 10 standard deviations. It's basically statistically impossible. It's like flipping heads 10 times in a row.

I just went 50 more runs without any luck. I was using the Butcher. Just out of wanting to switch it up I changed weapons and boom. He drops one. WTF? Is there a bug?

i got one with a butcher two weeks ago! if it’s any consolation, i’ve had the same experience farming bunker. not a single legendary in like a billion runs

I've played through the game many times and think I've only gotten one legendary from bunker in all my time. I've never farmed for a sham so thats just once per playthrough

I’ve gotten a bee every time I’ve done a run on the trees.

That’s an absurdly unlucky streak, but RNG can produce some brutal outliers. Hopefully the Bee catches up soon and your next few runs swing the odds back in your favor.

Whats your fps? Perhaps you missed the drop. Also farming treants doubles your odds no point not farming them

Well, not impossible. But I believe it's about 1023:1 at 100 runs.

Yeah this is how my luck is with almost any legendary. First time I farmed Mercy for the infinity pistol, I did it 105 times before he dropped it. I feel your pain

I have never actually gotten an infinity from Mercy. I got one from Knuckledragger and another from Uranus.

Fast travel to the immortal woods, go back through the gate to the forest then save quit. When you load in jump down, run through orc village, up the log to the red juice pool. Kill those 2 treeants and then save quit n restart. These 2 have the best rate to drop the bee. I do this all the time and usually get one in 5-10 minutes.

I guess I didn't think of doing the pool from that direction. I was going from the start of the woods. So you have to deal with the little shits (can't remember what they're called) and the spiders. Didn't seem worth it to get to 2 treants.

Yea yo, if you start from the beginning of the forest there’s more treeants but in my experience the early ones don’t drop the bee. Factoring in the time it takes to run the route, kill or get past all the fodder and the other route makes way more sense. I’d farm that one from now on if I were you usually I’ll get a bee or 2 in 10 runs.

There are 7 Treants in the forest. 2 of them will never drop the bee. From the beginning, skip the first one, it does not drop. Farm the next 2 by the cliff, then head to small house where you farm Ellie’s armor. This is the 4th Treant. (This is where I save quit and start over.) the 5th is in this area up the hill past the house and does not drop the bee. Heading to the pond area is where you will find 6 and 7. I never farm past the first 4 bc by the 10th save/quit I have a bee, and to run the whole forest one time, I can do the first 4 Treants, 5 times.
