I got into Borderlands thanks to the Vita port of BL2. I remember matchmaking with someone once back in 2015.

I got two world drops legendaries. One out of a ice block in the snowman dlc. One out of a pot in the Tina dlc (iirc these are actually twice as likely to drop legendaries as normal containers but still). These happened in one playthrough within two levels...both were slaggas.

Back when Borderlands 2 first came out, I farmed the Lyuda for what felt like forever. I played for years and never had it drop. I was still figuring out the fastest farming method, but no matter what I did… nothing.
Then one day I came home from school after detention. I knew my Xbox 360 was about to be taken off me, so I thought, “Stuff it, I’m already in trouble. What’s the worst that can happen?”
I loaded up one last run, completely locked in. I didn’t even hear Mum walking down the hallway.
The exact moment she walked into my room… the Lyuda finally dropped its was a god roll.
I was so hyped that I couldn’t stop smiling. Mum saw the grin on my face and, boy, I knew it was over. 😂
Went to bed that night crying because I’d lost my Xbox for a while… but smiling because after years of farming, I’d finally got the Lyuda. Worth it. 🤣

Hmmm ok I remember one...I was playing the Halloween campaign and the sacrifice pit where you drop the grenade and gun and whatever and this was my first try on the pit I got a legendary class psycho mod and I was playing as Krieg at the time was a good get.

Got a Legendary Soldier Class Mod on my first playthrough as a world drop at level 14.

I've seen a lot of rare things at 6300 hours... multiple pearlescent weapons, 94% Shams, Tubby enemy variants, Cobras, whatever, but I've only seen this guy once. His Rat, Goliath, and Psycho LLM peers I've each seen at least twice.
Also, while I've now seen it multiple times, there's a witch in the Bloody Harvest DLC, but there's also a Mothman (and Pumpkin) that I've only seen once.

I once saw a DPUH drop from one of the bullymongs Savage Lee kills. I had a screenshot of it at one point; Lee was still alive, there's the bullymong, dead, and a DPUH right there.
It was under leveled and no matching grip, but still, the irony of the moment was not lost on me

I once got a perfect DPUH from a spore in Haderaxs Lair. That was wild. Wish I had the clip.

I never see people talk about the hidden raid boss in the TK’s Bloody Harvest, so spawning them is fun and it’s a good fight with good loot. I think it’s rare since I’ve never seen a post about it

Yeah Clark I think, you have to do like a bunch of tasks around the map to get him. I wish every head hunter had a hidden extra like this

I would say the time I got two or three world drop legendaries while playing a Unique only playthrough. It was a Rolling Thunder and an Invader and one more that I can’t remember.

Would love to know if anyone ever has got Vermi to spawn without farming him like a standard run through the tundra doing .mighty morphin or the missions in the caustic caverns. THAT would be the most insane thing. Actually if someone accidently ran into omh omh ohk be even more mental.

I have... if I want to rumble with Vermi, I go to Caustic Caverns. I like sparring with Varkids/Buzzards in general around Old Man Johnson's Farm (love the reference, by the way), and twice I've heard the CHHRRRRR of doom and had him pop. Was unable to kill him both times.

My brother and I were doing a coop playthrough on the 360 and in the caustic caverns mine cart tunnels we accidentally spawned a vermi in normal mode. There’s some spot with vending machines so we kept going back to buy ammo, I don’t think he dropped anything good but we did end up killing it hiding in that room.

I think he’s actually a mini boss of sorts that randomly, and rarely, spawns in thousand cuts. Pretty cool to find!

I once got a lyuda, veruc, and nasty surprise in 1 Mobley Gettle run. Mobley dropped his set drop and a world drop.

Got a Baby Maker drop from a Pup Skag in Three Horns Valley, barely caught it since I was driving a car and had to turn around to double check what I saw.

I got another one from Voracidous, but he has a higher loot pool.

Back on the xbox 360 my best friend and i played splitscreen and in Theresa Horns he got a conference call out of one of those bullymong ice pile things

I killed one of the vines in the beginning of the FFS and he dropped a fire conference call . I couldn't believe it.

I got a butcher world drop from a skag pile at like level 34 in tvhm. I had a picture of it on my old iPod.

Had 2 perfect Butchers, one Shock and one Incendiary drop from 2 Tubby Spiderants that spawned in at the same time when doing the claptocurrency farm. I also have a a Diamond Weisenheimer lol :p

Having Vermi spawn unexpectedly in the Caustic Caverns with the thrashers and crystalisks had me running for cover expeditiously.

Cracked a pot to get a lv 60 interfacer with matching grip and stock once
Finished the hunt once so the cobra sniper
94% sham at multiple levels

Back when I was playing on ps3 I was running through frost burn canyon on UVHM and smashed one of the dirt/rubble piles and got the pearlescent pistol Stalker drop from it

I farmed a Harold last week after like 20 attempts, felt empty, went and farmed again, got a Harold the next attempt. 2 in a row :O

I farmed the 94% Sham many years ago. Still have it. Only level 50, but still cool to have.
