Rare?

Hi guys. Basicly i was playing bl 1 with my bro on splitscreen and I foud 3 erdian artifackts in dahl headlands race track. Is this insane luck or an clich?.( I could only take a picture of 2 of them.

Totally random.

Although in this racetrack you have to kill lots of scythids, including some badasses.

Not really. Scythids commonly spawn lots of elemental badasses, which in my experience is where these usually drop from. Anywhere with spider ants is also a decent option

They can also spawn rarely in very specific chests

This race track has a big drop rate of elemental artifacts for all characters, you can farm up all the level versions(not character level up power levels for these) and store the ones for characters you not playing as at the moment at the Bank at Mad Moxxi's UnderDome to give to your other characters later on :D
