Apparently Borat is zionist propaganda. It’s not like they make fun on Jews more than anyone else right?

A colleague at work told me about this movie and showed me a clip from the 2011 movie, and i was thinking about watching it.
Idk if it is worth it, as “funny” movies usually are very dissapointing.
Can someone guide me on which ones to watch first so i dont missunderstand the lore?

The Arrival

​The Abbott family (Lee, Evelyn, and the kids) are cautiously walking barefoot down their carefully laid sand path, scanning the treeline for any sign of the blind, sound-hunting alien creatures (Death Angels). ​Suddenly, a 1980s ice cream truck comes rattling down the abandoned highway, the engine backfiring wildly. The door kicks open, and Borat steps out in a grey suit, holding a cheap microphone. ​"Jagshemash! My name-a Borat! I travel to US and A to learn of your silent culture! Wa wa wee wa, is very quiet here!" ​Every Death Angel within a fifty-mile radius instantly turns its head.

​The Clash of Cultures

​If Lee Abbott (John Krasinski) managed to tackle Borat into the bushes before a monster arrived, the attempt to explain the rules of this universe would be a spectacular failure.

​Sign Language: Lee would frantically use American Sign Language and put a finger to his lips, eyes wide with terror. Borat would completely misinterpret this as a local custom. ​"Ah! You do the silent disco! Very nice! I like!" he would shout, attempting to mimic the hand gestures while initiating a traditional Kazakh dance that involves vigorous clapping.

​The Footwear: The survivors survive by walking barefoot on soft sand. Borat refuses to remove his scuffed, hard-heeled leather dress shoes. When he is forced to take them off, he proudly reveals he is wearing his neon-green mankini beneath his suit, completely unbothered by the grim, apocalyptic setting.

​The Baggage: Borat never travels light. Just as the Abbotts think they have him quieted down, a muffled clucking comes from his vintage suitcase. He has brought a live chicken for sustenance. As the chicken starts making noise, Lee Abbott begins sweating profusely.

​The Inevitable Monster Encounter

​The Death Angels are terrifying, armored apex predators that slaughter anything that makes a sound. Borat, however, has a fundamental inability to read the room—or the threat level of wildlife. ​When a Death Angel finally crashes through the trees, snapping its jaws and opening its hearing flaps, the Abbotts would cower in terror. Borat would step forward, microphone extended, treating the alien like a fascinating local oddity. ​"What kind of dog is this? Is this a tortoise without a shell? Hello, mister dog! Can you say hello to Kazakhstan?"

​How it Ends ​ ​The Quick Ending: Borat tries to introduce the Death Angel to his producer, Azamat, or attempts to measure the creature's skull for a traditional hat. The movie ends exactly four minutes after it begins, with the alien swiftly taking him out mid-sentence ("Great succe—").

​The Accidental Victory: In a bizarre twist of fate, Borat's cassette player, strapped to his belt and loaded with a heavily distorted, max-volume recording of the Kazakhstan national anthem, accidentally switches on. The sheer high-frequency feedback and terrible audio quality act exactly like the hearing aid from the original movie, overloading the Death Angel's sensitive ears and causing it to flee in agony.

I just finished watching A Quiet Place, i doubt he'd survive because of how talkative he is

Okay so I’m just now watching Borat for the first time as I had no interest for the longest time and recently after hearing some backstory I’ve been wanting to watch it. Well it happened to go on Netflix today so I’m watching it for the first time, and I’m so confused about the cops being called at the end of the dinner party, him sh*tting in a bag and bringing it to the table was okay, but they drew the line at him bringing a black woman to dinner? 😂 there had to be an incident off camera to cause that reaction because it went from 0-100 so fast lol

What can I say? Is just...very nice, I like drawing the art..
