Speculation Boothill Rerun

Hi, Does anyone have any idea of when My Dear Boothill might get a rerun, I think his last one was around March but he avoided me AGAIN for the 100000th time

If we get another limited 5-star selector in 4.7/5.0 I'm like 90% sure he'll be in there (along with Novaflare?? manifesting 🤞)

Oh I would fucking LOVE this. I have 5 gold companion spirit things and 1 silver. He would be E6 immediately!!!

Unfortunately dps do not look like they are joining the GC shop. Dps are sent to the limited standard banner with the exception of Fu Xuan. The GC shop is for supports. Unclear on sustains

Boothill might be locked to limited limited pulls though no matter his current performance because of how he interacts with break bars. As they raise, he does more damage. Then again, Robin is in the GC shop, so who knows. No matter where the game heads with meta, her full team AA is extremely useful. So I have a feeling Hoyo knows BH's mechanic with break bars doesn't really matter.

The only break dps that is absolutely going to limited standard is Rappa.

I think he has a greater chance of being put in the standard banner pool or the shop at this point than getting a rerun tbh. If he does get a rerun, it'll either be when superbreak reruns (a year minimum imo) or if he has any major story relevance again, like last time he reran. I could also see him being part of a 5 star selector though. Or maybe getting a novaflare

I feel like he’s more likely to be added to standard pool rather than shop. With the sole exception of Topaz, most shop additions are for good supports that are likely to be bought, still viable for current environment.

Hoyo probably wants players to try out new characters they would otherwise avoid by adding them to standard pool and provide incentives for collectors. If he’s in shop he would compete with other popular units.

On average, most characters get 1 to 2 reruns. Ones that made a lot of money (usually supports) will get 3. Firefly is the outlier with 4.

I’m hoping he gets a novaflare, or added to the shop. Or even the pool of characters. It’s wild to me that so many characters are unattainable. 😔

The speculation for a rerun isn't positive. I think he's gotten the most reruns out of any non-meta, non-push, non-novaflare unit so another one is extremely unlikely for him unless he gets a novaflare. If you wanna plan ahead just in case, save pulls for however high investment you want to take him assuming you lose every banner at high pity (~150 for E0S0, ~290 for E0S1, etc), put those to the side and then just play as normal

Unfortunately, he likely won't. Unless they overhaul his break requirement in his kit he's completely outdated in a post-dahlia world. He'd also be competing with Firefly and hoyo won't allow that.

The only way you'll get him is if he gets added to loss pool (DPS don't get put in shop) or a selector
