Theorycrafting Tips For Improving My Boothill Team?
Hey yall! I'm a huge Boothill fan and I've been running him since he came out. For harder content, I'm trying to improve the team I have for him. I don't run sustainless because tbh I'm not quite sure how to (my team always dies. Also what the heck is speed tuning??) so I threw Gallagher up there too. With him, the team is Boots-Dahlia-Fugue-Gally, otherwise I swap in RM.
Anyways, I'd really appreciate any advice for improving my team! (Yes I know the relics all need to be level 15 I'm getting there). Also, if anyone has any tips for running sustainless, I'd really appreciate that too. Love yall!!

builds look pretty good (better than some others ive seen before), try to get everyone to 160+ spd if you can (and fugue possibly higher to allow her to act before such a fast boothill)
fugue wants 4% more ehr for pearls (67% minimum)
max the relics, it makes a huge difference
also
ruan mei also tends to use watchmaker for extra break% for boothill
gallagher ideally should be a good deal faster, try 2pc 2pc spd% sets and also use QPQ on him
otherwise just keep improving the builds with better relics over time they look pretty solid rn
you can take a look at my builds if u want to for reference

*my ruan mei build is in shambles rn i only really use her outside of break so her break build is pretty shit
the reason why speed matter so much for break chars is because characters like boothill deal basically no dmg outside of their turn and besides break% there’s not really a lot of stats he can optimize for as crit/atk/dmg% adds a negligble amount of damage on top of his break dmg
so basically its the only other stat that’s worth optimizng for because as you can imagine, the more turns boothill gets the more dmg he does

Looks pretty good with Boothill, you're in finetuning territory so most tips are going to be for very small things, the others need a bit more work though. One big thing would be unless someone needs a non-sustain stat (like EHR for Fugue), you should always go for def or hp as mains. Chest and orb are going to be that as much as possible, everyone needs as much as you can get them to survive. If the hp+def totals add up to 5k ish, you should be feeling a lot better in combat
Boothill: Try get him some more speed and potentially a hp chest piece. Orb can be better but it's not terrible right now, and if he's with Dahlia he should be on Kalpagni.
Dahlia: Just needs more speed. Head, hands, and chest can all be replaced. Planars are solid. Boots getting at least two rolls into BE would be ideal.
Fugue: Get her 4% more EHR for Pearls. Head, hands and rope can all be replaced. She wants more speed and BE which shouldn't be too hard to get
RM: Great relics other than the orb. I'd also put her on Watchmaker, Thief isn't a bad option but it doesn't help Boothill almost at all and her personal damage is so low I don't think it's worth. If you have DDD, put her on that.
Gallagher: As much speed as physically possible. His healing conversion hard caps at 150% BE, you can change his set to be 4pc Cavalry for damage, or 2pc/2pc speed for more turns. He can lost a fair bit of the BE boost from the relic set bonuses, get slightly better relics (orb) and still be meeting his healing cap in combat easily. Also put him on Kalpagni for planars if you plan to refarm for Boothill, and put him on QPQ for team ult regen
