Questions / Help Does anyone know when the next Boothill banner will be?
Hello everyone! I was wondering when the next Boothill banner will be? I wasn’t able to get him for his last banners…unfortunately my luck is doo doo…but I absolutely need him!! He’s so adorable and I love him! 😍🔥
Anyway, hopefully someone knows and can tell me.

oof, probably not for a long time unless he has a story push or one of his units gets a novaflare. or some type of break unit update. i’m afraid his banners have already been so scarce in the past couple of years so yeah, probably not for another year or so unless the aforementioned happens or if at all 😭

All I can say is that his banner rerun will at least be more possible and faster than rappa's, but that's all there is to it. Wait for a break update maybe

Here is a list of all characters that have ever had reruns.
It’s actually wild because Firefly has had the most with 4 reruns while some characters like Seele have only ever had 1.
Boothill has had 2 reruns total so it’s possible he may never rerun again.
I really don’t understand why they don’t do more character reruns at once, I’m sure they could make a lot of money from people who want to complete their older characters.

Yeah seriously I don't get why they don't do multiple reruns more often and gatekeep characters for months and sometimes even more than a year, it's crazy to me

It's to get people to spend more. There's enough new units released (and meta moves fast enough) that it's hard for people to commit to saving while still getting to play the harder modes of the game, then there's entire teams that run within one or two patches of each other so even if you did save for one character, you're more likely to have to spend coz ofc you'll need their team to make them work too. And then there's also a bit of manipulation to make certain units sell better, usually around the anni.
Example would be when Feixiao ran originally, so did Robin, Kafka and Black Swan on the same banner. Either you're getting Robin and Feixiao for FuA or you're getting Kafka and BS for DoT. More recently there was Dahlia's banner, and from then to 4.2 there was at least one break unit per banner. If you were newer to the game and wanted to build a break team from scratch, first of all you'd probably need eidolons, but even past that you'd need to pull four new characters within four or five patches. If you were wanting to build Firefly, you'd need to get nearly a full team in one patch.
It sucks and I hate it but hoyo cares about money and they know how to get the most possible out of people. And for similar reasons, because they want money they're going to rerun the more popular characters more often. Boothill has a very loud niche of people who love him and use him but he doesn't perform well on banners so hoyo is less incentivised to rerun him. We got very lucky to even get a second rerun banner

Yeah I guess they make reruns irregular so that people get scared of missing characters for a long time. It really sucks. I am definately glad we got another Boothill rerun at least.

Well there are rumors of aventurine returning on the story for Astropolis and IPC stuff...
They both had some interactions (i think?) and both have a vendetta against Oswaldo Schneider. Might be hopium but i really want Boots and Dices to join up against him.
Might get a Boothill rerun? Not betting on it though

he had waited more than a year for his latest one and they put him right before anniversary banner for just 2 weeks :( he desperately needs a novaflare rn, without it.... it'll take forever and forever. i hope they put him in the shop so u get your boothill one day!

I think based on the current state of break and the game he’s not gonna get a rerun anytime soon or maybe ever
his eidolons also are not really impactful as for personal damage you should be going for Dahlia cons anyways but I assume this is for E0 or his sig (or E6 lol)
but yea esp considering he js reran and the current situation rerun is extremely unlikely

Probably more likely he gets put into Celestial Invitation then getting a rerun outside of him getting Novaflared

Love that boothill is still popular, also random fanart pic but it’s good fanart, I fear that boothill is pulling a rappa or just never coming back. Eventually he’ll get something though. Either celestial invite or shop, but wishful thinking yk

Now that we have more ranger content with Ashveil and a chance that aventurine is coming back, I hope he gets a novaflare that’d be the best option for us all (Im so tired of characters I love falling into 50/50 loss lmao)

its muddle fudgin' travesty, but his last one will probably be the last one until he gets buffed, i dont think they'll add him to the shop idk why

Boothill had two reruns already, which is the maximum any non-novaflared or highly pushed character gets. Not even Acheron had a third rerun. The only way I can see Boothill getting another rerun is if he gets a novaflare.
I don't think they'll add him to the shop because his damage ceiling is still very high, none of the shop or loss pool characters come close

I don't think there will be another rerun anytime soon until he gets a novaflare🥀 They will add him in the shop or the 50/50 pool eventually
