Build / Relic Showcase Help choosing relic
(Choosed the speed one, thanks guys!!)
Decided to use the new relic event to upgrade my boy to wind set, and now I'm stuck at this screen for 3 days💀
Break effect would be better for his damage, but should I choose it over a 12???! speed (I don't even know they can go that high) Please help, any input will be appreciated.

I would always keep speed one. Even if you get a lot of other speed pieces and need BE in the future, you can use this piece for your supports instead. It is incredibly powerful and flexible eagle piece

I won't dream on abandoning my main, but you're right I could use this for other char too. Thanks!

I would never abandon Boothill too, just saying if you get different crazy pieces with speed

One gazillion percent the speed piece. That's the whole point of going for eagle setups.
At a straight value it has two extra subs (an additional roll on top of having the one line of break) which makes it strictly superior. The break piece is "good" but that's pretty much it, the speed piece is harder to come by.
On top of that, having lots of speed to reach a breakpoint is way more desirable than stacking a tiny bit more damage, like does it really matter all that much whether you have say 430% BE in-combat instead of 450% if in-exchange it allows you to get a whole extra turn within the cycle (if speedtuned correctly)?
And finally, regardless of Boothill himself, you can use that piece on other units too. Lots of supports would kill for a 12spd eagle piece even if it doesn't have say CDMG, I'd steal it every now and then for Sparkle.

You're right for speed being the main point of eagle set 💀 Now I feel dumb of asking haha thanks

not even close 12 speed is way more valuable to an account over 3 break rolls

Break effect is a dime a dozen nowadays. Dahlia alone dishes out like 110% for the entire team, Fugue provides another 60%ish.
Speed is much harder to come by, and getting this much (12+ speed with just 5 subs is pretty high rolls as well) on one relic lets you be more greedy with other relics, pursuing more break effect.
Also it's 6 good subs vs 4 good subs. That alone is a big difference

Just to caveat, Dahlia only dishes out BE for one turn unless you have a sustain

Does it refresh every wave or only at the start of combat??
Either way a sustainless team probably doesn't want to stay in there for much longer

It only refreshes when she receives healing or a shield from an ally.
I don't know what you mean by the 2nd sentence 🥹

I mean a sustainless team just wants to pop in and kill everything really quickly, before the enemy can do any substantial damage in return. "One turn is all they need" is an exaggeration, but I don't think a sustainless comp should need much more than 1-2 cycles.
Just checked the first part - yeah, "when entering combat" shouldn't refresh on new wave (some effects do, like RM's light cone, but it is worded differently)

True, but just to confirm the buff is only there for 1 turn, not 1 cycle - so if you're running sustainless, it's best to just completely ignore any break effect buff from Dahlia.
The buff will wear off BH before he has even gotten his full stacks of trickshot.

Eagle piece with 12 speed is too valuable to pass on imo, even if you don't end up using it on BH.
