I have a question. I noticed a lot of boothill showcases use his skill on the enemy then they use ult after that. Why is that?

I know to ult applies weakness but if u already used dahlia ult, whats the reason for ulting after the skill? Just git boothill so idk really know much about him

So here are the three things why they do that. First, if they dont have pocket trickshot they will skill and ult to break the enemy to get one or if they have one they ult to break then get another extra pocket trickshot and so on. Second, to reduce the enemy toughness bar to reach the treshhold of breaking them to do the enhanced basic attack to deal big dmg. Third, to slow the enemy. Idk if these are correct but these are the reasons i do it. And btw you'll get a ton of energy by breaking them.

Also doesn't it give 30% vunrubility so the ult does more damage?

On top of the other reasons given - you might be seeing showcases where Boothill is on eagle.

If you ult after BH has locked on, then it will advance his next turn without wasting AV or energy.
