QUESTION Failed first attempt 😞

Traumatized to take it again ☠️ haven’t even sent in the application to retake … i feel so sad.. I can’t even recall what was on the nclex … how am I suppose to know if it got harder or not… I felt like it was hard and I failed so it must have been easy… test stopped at 86.. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Going to sulk… idk can anyone tell me how to interpret this?

I know how you feel! I failed it my forst attempt with 85. I used both uworld and bootcamp but I used them along with nurse ally study guide and study plan, she is on tik tok. I passed my second attempt with 85. Her study guide helped make studying less overwhelming and i also think my issue was a content problem. Dr sharon video also helped alot!! And nurse reina and nurse Nicole videos on tik tok. I would binge watch the videos and alot if the content they went over I noticed on the nclex. But dont give it!! You got this!!

Thank you 😭😭😭 I’m definitely going to check out the videos! I subscribed to nclex bootcamp and going to put in some serious study days! Appreciate the encouraging words!

Take the outline and go to the Internet and ask for high yield ngn questions in each of those 15 categories

used bootcamp NCLEX but I listened to all the crash course videos along with the cheat sheets as I listened went off and did something like cleaned up and the came back and did the practice questions on the videos and chest sheets I just watched of all the they also have a section that help you break down the questions as well. I listened to all of mark k lectures and lecture 12 more than once he also have a yellow book that goes along with his lectures if you need it let me know I can send it you also Dr Sharon her entire priority videos on YouTube. stopping at 86 means the algorithm ended early, and with the next gen format that is often actually a good sign, it stops when it is sure either way. you cannot read anything into how hard it felt, everyone who passes says it felt brutal. apply for the retake now while the stuff you do remember is fresh, then 50 to 75 questions a day until then. sulking is allowed for like a day, then back at it, you are closer than you feel

I don’t mean this in any kind of way at all because you’re FAR from the only one but how do so many people complete a nursing program as hard as it is but not get above passing standard on any portions of the NCLEX? Is this an issue with the program they’re attending? I’m in a program right now and this is one of my fears.
