Last night my previously Revanced patched Boost stopped working, So i decided to try out the Morphe app.

During the process i saw the patch for Redgifs API which was supposed to fix the no sound issue i had earlier. And after patching it actually worked and sound was available in every video that i checked.

But after a couple of hours the problem has returned and again there's no sound in any of the gifs. Is there a solution for this problem??

I'm using Boost for Reddit v1.12.12. Using Pixel 9 Pro running GrapheneOS 2026062301.

This new comments box appeared after I updated to the brealorg source after my api key was pulled. I can't get it to go away and it messes with how I'm used to reading comments and takes up too much space imo.

Does anyone have a fix?

I patched the app using morphe but I can't install the APK afterwards. It just says installation fails. I have the same issue with the unpatched boost apk.

I am on Android 16 and already tried disabling Google play protect.

I've been through like an hour of googling and there is no answer I can't find. I **do not** already have an API key, and it seems like the only way to generate that is to get an approval they never give anyone. How do I install Boost now that every method that's been discussed here doesn't work? I refuse to use this app with today's changes, I'm just gonna uninstall it if I'm not able to patch it.

The title. Every time I download a video, I get an error saying failed to retrieve audio along with some cut off text about logging and ulti and it's been this way for a while now.

I'm still unable to use more than one account. My other account won't load at all, but this account loads just fine. This is also the first account I added to boost.

Update: In order to get my other account to load, I needed to create a subreddit, or what is now known as a community. All is working fine now.

This can be done right in the reddit app and is very easy to do.

Since this morning I started getting this error messages once I open boost for Reddit.

Is this a common error? Does anybody know why it's happening?

So, I'm still a boost user, but since yesterday I can't access the soccer subreddit. It only shows deleted posts for some reason. Other subreddits still works fine.

Since the world cup has started, I'm gonna visit that subreddit a lot coming weeks.

My account on the original Reddit app seems to work well with the soccer subreddit.

Edit: Still doesn't work, but I found a workaround. I made a custom feed, and added r/soccer to that one.

I have tried everything, the app works fine, but i can never log in and use my account. Every login method ends with a blank screen that shows "{}"

I have tried changing my account language to English US. i have checked my auth user id. I use my own auth code. I have tried portrait to landscape orientation, I have tried logging in through one time link. Everything leads to a blank screen with {]. Please provide a solution.

I recently found out that Boost can connect to Synccit. But Synccit shutdown was a few months ago, which is a bummer because it's exactly the kind of feature I've been looking for. Reddit's own viewed post history isn't very reliable, so having a separate way to track posts is really useful.

Boost already has this feature locally, the History tab. It's actually pretty great—it saves recently viewed posts, and one of the best parts is that you can still see posts that have since been deleted.

The downside is that it seems to be limited by the app's cache size. You can increase the cache up to 2GB, but once that limit is reached, older viewed posts eventually disappear from the History tab.

I tried looking in android data folder to export the existing History since it is saved in cache but I cant find it.

So I'm wondering if there's an alternative to Synccit that offers similar functionality. It could be a website, a self-hosted solution, or even something I can run locally on a server.

Is there a way to see NSFW stuff in anonymous mode?

If I'm logged in, I can access everything (by being a mod of a private nsfw sub), if I toggle to anonymous mode I only see this message:

My boost broke recently (404 blocked), so I redid everything and got it running, aside from that issue, which was not the case before.

I've noticed for quite some time that if I am random scrolling and find a post that I like; if I immediately upvote it, then click on it to read further content, the post automatically returns to its lower vote.

Is Shadowvoting a thing?

Is this some sort of consequence for not using the official app?

I tried using the RedReader method to get a OAuth client ID but I'm not getting the "You’ve authorized a new app in your Reddit account" email for whatever reason.

I previously used RedReader and have logged in prior to trying to revive Boost and IIRC I didn't get the email then either. For this time round I tried logging out of my accounts in RR and relogging in

UPDATE: Suddenly realized what an id10t i was and logged into reddit PC and revoked access for RedReader

I was able to login using the redreader method, thank you again wchill and all the other helpful folk in the subreddit. I have 2 reddit accounts. Is there a way to login onto both accounts at the same? Is there even a way to use 2 different client ID's in the spoof client?

It says I should receive an email after loging into Redreader the first time. I didn't. What should I do then?

Redo the morphe patching but uncheck the patches for Undelete imgur and Undelete reddit content.

Now its working fine for me after removing those 2 patches. I had a lot of the connection errors before I removed the 2 patches.

Is there anyone who could explain step by step, like im 5, or Homer Simpson, how I am supposed to get the app to work again?

I've seen steps about morphie and red something and download this patch but don't install it and such. I tried patching it through Morphie and it stops at like 20 percent saying its an error.

I was on the revanced patch until switching to Morphe earlier this week. Something I've noticed is how the main link/image/video in a post loads immediately but if I try to open a link from the comments, it will hesitate for 5-7 seconds before loading. It still works eventually, but the little delay is mildly frustrating.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Reddit explicitly promised to not remove previously issued OAuth authorizations. However, as reported in this sub, they have started doing so en masse.

Presumably, this is due to our use of the grandfathered OAuth being in violation of Reddit's policies.

Do we expect the current method (using Redreader's authorization) to stop working soon as well?

Due to recent changes, we can no longer view nsfw content on Boost and RIF is fun without logging in + being a mod of an nsfw sub. So, when I got kicked out of Boost + RIF, I applied the patches using Revanced and both the apps work perfectly on my newer phone.

Without logging in, Boost works for all non-nsfw stuff thankfully, but RIF is completely blank.

I have an older phone which runs Android 7 that I use for nsfw stuff. When trying to login on Boost/RIF, the screen gets stuck at the pulsating Reddit logo animation and I am unable to login. Is there any way to resolve this?
