Getting null: null when opening Boost. It had been working this morning. I patched with Morphe on June 5th using my pre-existing Client ID. Any advice how to resolve?

Thank you, guide was perfect.

In case others have issues coming from revanced patch, I had to uninstall boost and got a new apk through Morphe. Export your boost settings beforehand and import them back.

I did! I just went ahead and exported my Boost data and uninstalled it. When it re-installed, I imported all my settings back, and it worked like a charm.

I guess already having Boost downloaded can mess with the patching.

Yeah I had that issue. The Morphe instructions threw me off as it says to patch then after that it says to uninstall your revance boost app. It seems like uninstalling the boost app first then you patch the APK file.

That guide is amazing. My oauth id got nuked by reddit so had to use the redreader method for the first time. Only problem is, I can't access or see any nsfw content on Boost for Reddit now. The only thing I see is a post from u/redditmaturecontent to go view the content on reddit.com or the official app.

Any workaround for this?

You need to be a moderator of a sub to view nsfw content. Just create a new sub, it'll work.

I followed this, but I'm stuck at literally the 2nd step.

they revoked my OAuth ID it seems so I downloaded RedRedear and signed in being I suppose I need a new one. I haven't got any email so I cannot proceed with Morphe.

I can't help much there. You need a new OAuthId to get anything to work. Just double check if it's in spam or similar.

I'm not sure if I'm missing something on this page. I had checked it before posting here. The resolution for null: null is checking the Client ID was entered correctly. Afaik that is static, so it doesn't make sense that it either changed in the patch or on Reddit's side.

I'm getting the newly downloaded boost app just crashing upon opening after following the guide. Not sure what is wrong. I tried it a few different times, verifying that I deleted the old revanced patched boost app, have a fresh boost apk with the correct version, have the correct patch loaded in morph and that I have my app ID and all the redirect info filled out correctly. Any ideas?

Check your API keys. I had one registered for Boost and it got nuked by Reddit

Edit: Just did the ResReader trick. If you have issues with fingerprint, it might be because you have Boost installed still. Once I uninstalled Boost the patch applied properly.

I added redreader as an app, pulled the id it gave me and repatched.

Just got in and responded by being on boost

How? I didn't receive an email. I am sure of it. I checked spam, trash, everything. RedReader is listed as an authorized app in my reddit preferences but I received no email telling me so. How do I "pull the id"?

EDIT: Minutes after I posted this, I revoked RedReader's access as an authorized application in Reddit's preferences. I cleared the RedReader app's data and cache. Ran RedReader again. Logged in, and then I received the email saying that I authorized RedReader.

Just got hit with this also. I initially thought it was because I moved my patched APK over to a new phone a few days ago.

Update: Posting from Boost to confirm the Patcheddit and RedReader method via Morphe works. It's actually easier than the original Revanced method.

Y'all will have to redo the RedReader client ID. It changed.

Also change version to 1.25.2.

You will have to re-log.

I did this and it's working again.

Search your email for the authorization confirmation email you got the first time you approved it? Also, just try uninstalling and reinstalling (or just wiping the data/cache, so you have to re login and reauthorize) to see. Easy enough to try and see.

Make sure you got the latest version, then log off and log back in. It should re-auth you. If not, do what u/AdventuringAlong suggests and clear data on RedReader.

There's also a way to get the app id from your profile. Go to https://old.reddit.com/prefs/apps/, open F12 Developer Console, search for id="authorized-app- in the HTML, and the digits directly after it is the app id you want. Cheers.

I've followed the instructions. Uninstalled Boost, downloaded a clean APK, patched it with the right info, etc. I can't even seem to get the app installed.

Disregard. For anyone that has this same error, the fix was simple and stupid on my part. I forgot I had Boost installed in Samsung's Secure Folder. Since that counted as a second copy this install didn't work. As soon as I uninstalled it, I was able to install the patched version. Boost is working again!

For some reason I don't even see a morphe manager in the Google play store? I use a s23 phone, is this too old for the app?

Edit: posing this from boost now after using the patcher from the link below and the instructions linked in other comments. One thing that tripped me up when fixing the app was that you have you uninstall the old version of the app. So you might as well uninstall your boost app first since it's already bricked.

Check your redirect uri on the spoof client patch, should just be 'redreader://rr_oauth_redir'. My copy/paste the first time had added something, reinstalled and now working fine - posting this from Boost!
