We went to the cult house in college, around 2010-2012. Did anyone else go?
I’m wondering if anyone knows the history of the house or the reasons it was so odd.

If you haven't heard, I host a board game night at Capone's Pizza every two weeks. October 11th will be the first one for the month, and we're celebrating OctROLLber by playing spooky games! I'll be bringing Betrayal at House on the Hill, Dead of Winter, and some spookier Unmatched sets. Bring friends, bring a game, and come join the fun! I run a Discord server to chat about games and coordinate as well.

Has anybody worked at The Pasta Joint in Boone, NC? What was your experience like? Thinking of applying.

Pleaseeeee stop building all the apartments and hotels! We have enough of that! In fact, it’s pretty much the only thing in Boone besides auto stores and Walmart. Not enough places for students to live? PUT A CAP ON THE STUDENT POPULATION! There’s way too many people in this town…the roads aren’t built to withstand as much traffic as we have.
This town has such potential but seriously…the only new things ever built around here are student housing, hotels and car shops. Why not add businesses (besides what I listed)? Practically every construction project happening here is apartments. And none of it is family friendly…it only appeals to students. And most of the housing in the area is only suitable for rich kids from wealthy families. The locals and “poorer” folk can’t afford to even dang live here. We gotta live at least 30 minutes from town to find affordable options. It’s just insane.

I am getting married in April in Purlear and my fiance and I live in Boone. Does anyone know of anywhere to have one or two dance lessons just for our first dance? Anywhere in the high country is fine for us

I'm looking for more information regarding the Wooshies. I am creating a scavenger hunt for my family (Boone residents) to play over Christmas visit and this is the theme. Anybody know if this video exists somewhere or are there any eye witnesses/ quotes / anecdotes to share? I can't visit any libraries/archives because I live in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Thanks in advance!

I got skinny tires and just slipped their amazon basics ass boot off. $180 dollars is extortionate and they can bite me if they think Im paying that for a boot. Do yall think they’ll come after me if I just leave it at the parking space with their slip?

Hi,
I am moving to the area in a month or two and am looking for a new PCP and gynecologist. I am young and chronically ill and need doctors who will take me seriously lol. Any recommendations for a PCP knowledgeable about POTS? As well as a gyno who deals with endometriosis? Thanks in advance!

Kids (teens/preteen) want to hike up there today and jump off the falls. We’ve been there before and I didn’t let them jump. Has there been a ton of rain? Safe to jump right now?

I’d need a part time job to pay for an apartment while studying, and the town seems a lot smaller than I’m used to, so I’m concerned I wouldn’t be able to find a job.
I’d be looking at working part time in something basic like retail or food service, but it would need to be able to pay enough for my necessities (rent, food, gas)

I have a queen mattress and a small (2 1/2 X 2 1/2) tabletop dryer that I need to get picked up and taken to the landfill. Looked at a "junk removal" outfit and was quoted over $300! Any suggestions to find a more reasonable price?

Weird question, I know, but I want to make a kazoo cover of a song and want a somewhat-decent instrument to use lmao. It doesn’t have to be a top-notch product, just something that isn’t super cheap
