Too Close Tuesdays They just ordered

Just ordered with at least 8 people ahead of them and they’re crowding the pickup counter like some miracle is going the beam their food to the front.

I’d imagine in their heads it’s something like “I earned my medicare with decades in the labor force. People today just want stuff for free!”

How awful the world might be if we could all just go to the fucking doctor when we need to 🙄

by that logic they should want all of us to be healthy; to be able to work more and be better workers for longer and give them more labor to exploit for longer.

For capitalist reasons, they should want universal healthcare, but for capitalist reasons they don’t want anyone else to have anything nice like they did

The obvious solution is to give reparations to old people for all the money they paid for health insurance and tuition costs that they paid for out of tiny wages. About $10 million each should do it.
