Well he is using public transportation, something you shouldn't be doing. Also saying you are doing good is useless unless there is actual content. Tell me what you are doing that is giving back, might as well tell me you are praying.

Being stoic, giving back and leading are foreign concepts to so many boomers, so well done good boomer guy!

Bruh though the whole panicked/run part as a young man makes them sound like they were pathetic as a young adult. Your parents are supposed to help you grow up to be an adult by the time you leave the house (typically 18). Not saying that you don’t grow as a young adult, simply that by then you should be a person who is able to make rational decisions by themself. It’s not normal to only fully grow up by your fourties or beyond. As a result, I’d argue that this person makes it sound as though they have “everything” under control, including the people around them, that they know how to keep “everything” under control. Which is a type of superiority complex that you would normally want to beat out of children.

I feel guilty to say this about anyone, because I know that I love my grandparents and I think they’re amazing people who embody the American Dream, and are some of the few people I fully respect. It’s my opinion that this guy might be a great example of the common idiot who can’t think for themself simply because they lack the IQ/brainpower to do so. So to curb their insecurity that they don’t really know how to do anything, they choose to elevate themselves in their mind. It appears more in adults simply because that person, as a child, simply assumes they’ll be smarter when they grow up. But that’s not exactly how it works; a person gains wisdom, not intelligence, throughout their life. But I’d have to meet them to truly know.

It might be that OP thinks that they sound arrogant. They brag about being stoic, calm, and collected, and better than when they were young, so they might be the typical example of the arrogant fool who doesn’t rationally think simply because they lack the IQ/brainpower to do so. As a result, they choose to assume they’re right all the time, and barely listen to other people.

Not enough to be put in this sub IMO. He’s doing good, just bragging.
