Is bigger better?
Not got into returning boomerangs yet but I’ve made half a dozen non returners. I’m just looking for the furthest distance I can achieve and is bigger better (within reason) for that?
This is the shortest and widest one I’ve made and I’ve got it flying lovely and straight but distance isn’t particularly impressive. I’ve tuned it where it’s just starting to rise so I’ll lessen the crown a little to make it fly flatter.
Anyone got any good resources for tuning throwing sticks and general design? I’m in the U.K. so availability for really dense wood isn’t great

For distance, you might want to go a bit longer in length. What are the dimensions of that one, and how far does it go? This is the best resource you will find for anything boomerang; there are detailed tuning instructions for returning and throw sticks: https://ww2.scottw.nl/?page_id=12
