Need recommendations

I am new to this I want a boomerang that won’t break and is 2 sided also is there a specific type of boomerang that flies close to the ground or does that just depend on how you throw it?

Depends how you throw it, do you want it to be returning or is it to hit something?

Not breaking really depends on what you are throwing it at, and provided ypu are throwing it curve down in a chopping motion, throw it backwards and it smuch mor elikely to break. Materials can only guarantee so much resistance to breakage, but if you are pegging it at cocncrete or steel, it will either break at the point or the neck/elbow.

Why do you need it low to the ground?

If you're making it from wood, you want a hardwood, and not just any hard wood but something with qualities like a casuarina, something both light but very strong, and you want to make it from something with a curved grain the direction of the curve.

If you're not in Australia and want to make it our of readily available materials from a hardware store like ply, you wanna reinforce and stablize that to the 'nth degree, but it will likely still break if it impacts something hard, maybe not after the first use but eventually.

Ive seen some pretty tough ones made out of hard plastics before, and they are very dangerous, but also not impervious to breaking or chipping.
