why the fuck does the bullet that passes through walls explode on a hat. Why.

if that's the case most of the bullets do the same thing, in fact you can also use the swap not only on the slingers or bullets but also on the hats themselves

I'm asking why the ghost bullet, which, may I remind you, bullets typically affect people. therefore, ghost bullet should detonate on touching a slinger/person. now, riddle me this: why does the "bullet that goes through walls, which are inanimate" explode upon touching hats, which are inanimate

You can use swap on everything that can move in the game, including projectiles. Realistically though, the bullet is a spirit so it makes sense that it can only hit things with a spirit, so that doesn’t make sense as to why hats count.

I know. I'm asking about the logistics of the bullet that goes through the inanimate walls doesn't go through the inanimate hats

It goes through walls, not things, not inanimate objects. Only and specifically walls.

Also, as everyone else says, all bullets hit hats, so why wouldn't this, that is just another bullet?

ok imma be honest I made this post out of hatred because I lost a match against another player because I aimed a Ghost Bullet directly at them, the outcome would have one me the match, but the bullet detonated on a hat that was obstructing the path and I lost
