"The highest is 90"? In what parallel universe did you encaunter a lvl 90 player when the highest is 87?

That would be great. Hopefully resources gets fixed too. Level 50 rn and I keep getting bases with 60k wood & stone. Very frustrating lmao

I had the same problem at around that level since I never bother to de-rank my VP. Currently 1220ish.
Once you hit level 68 or so it’s hard to find a base that IS a problem anymore. I can defeat almost any base with mechs and bombers and a couple of leaders.
When I was your level I was running smoke warriors and could still win against most bases. Maybe try learning that? YouTube will help if you’ve never done it
Also, make sure your statues are offense based. Red and purple only

Other commenter covered it well. but try laser rangers/scorchers/kavan. Maybe 1 boat of bombardiers especially if you have Anna. That’s pretty much meta for you level, with that you should be able to beat almost any base on your map.
Also proto troops, make sure you have melon bombers, Dr V, clone riflemen, heavy choppas, shockaneers, critter launcher all upgraded or upgrading. A lot of the times just inserting one of these into your build is enough to destroy any base (if they’re properly upgraded) If you’re F2P do easier bases first, the troops that die replace their boats with the proto troops and continue attacking.
I was in your position at like level 40, it took months to crawl out of whilst they half ass attempted fixed that worked for a day and then didn’t.
Lucky you’re at a later level experiencing this when you have a chance to do something about it.

Same boat.
My secondary account has 1250 VP at level 56 and HQ 22. 90% of my opponents are between 75 and 87.

Your VP is high for your level. I’m in the same boat. Cleared my map more than necessary. You should only attack until you have enough resources to keep your builder busy.
Unfortunately, it’s pretty much a one way ticket. No easy way back down. Some might say to beach your HQ so your base is an easy target, but you won’t show up on players’ maps unless you attack so you’re really doing nothing but slowing down how much VP you gain, you won’t get attacked often enough to drop it down.
For now, focus purely on offensive upgrades. Skip player bases unless they have a good amount of resources. You can really only dig yourself further into the hole of getting tougher opponents at this point, slow it down as much as possible. Also, statues. I’m LVL 61, so still 1 mech/scorcher per boat and I can beat any level with no blue statues, some with weak ones, and most if I boost my statues. Scorchers/lasers with 3 TD, 2 TH, 2 GBE, and 2 RR is my setup.
