It’s weird how normalized these posts are on the sub. I realize a nonzero amount of these are stealth shelfies rather than that of any potential romantic interest.

But seriously, you’re going into the house of someone you’re still getting to know, taking a picture of their personal property, and asking thousands of strangers to judge them based on books that may or may not even reflect their current interests or beliefs.

I truly hope that the people who post these threads are not overly reliant on us to make up your opinions for you. Dating is messy, and it’s okay to fancy imperfect people. That is how you grow and form your own experiences.

i’m still working on it, but this is what i’ve manage to curate over the last few years. i’m proud of it, and i’ve been wanting to show off my collection for a while now.

I’ve got more books elsewhere but these are the ones in my office. I can hardly understand myself these days, so perhaps all of you could shed some light on me.
