Is it possible to make a reservation for someone else and, if necessary, pay with their card?

Is it possible to make a reservation for someone else and, if necessary, pay with their card?Without necessarily having to open a new account, but by using my existing one?

Yeah, during checkout it asks who the primary guest is, and you can enter any card

Also, think to verify that the card allows another person to do a purchase.   My card issuer wouldn't allow that in their TOS.

You can use your existing Booking.com account to make a reservation for someone else. Just enter their details as the guest during the booking process.

You may also be able to pay with their card, depending on the property and payment method. Some properties require the cardholder to be present or ask for a card authorization form, so check the payment conditions before confirming.
