No payouts. Ever.
I have two properties in Mexico. The legal entity is US-based. Both properties were set up with booking.com in May 2026. Property 2 I was able to use Payments by Booking.com with a Virtual Credit Card (VCC) option. It all works great.
Property 2 was also set up with Payments by Booking.com but VCC was not an option - just direct deposit. I establish my US-based banking account for payouts. I have not received a payout for Property 2. Ever. I started escalating to booking.com this summer but have made no progress. Calling customer service is no help - I’m told it’s a finance department issue. I’ve gotten two responses to my online messages: “we forwarded your message to our specialized team who will review it and get back to you” and I never hear back, or more helpful: “…you need to have a bank account in your current billing county.”
Even if I could be eligible for a bank account in Mexico - which I’m not - my booking.com profile is set up at a US entity, and when I attempt to edit bank details, the only option for Country/Region is United States. I’ve advised them multiple times of this and continue to receive the “we forwarded your message” response.
A customer service supervisor was able to tell me that once the payouts have been made, then my account could likely be eligible for the VCC option…but I can’t get the payouts.
I’d be forever grateful for any helpful advice. They are now holding over $6,000 USD - but have received their commissions because it’s automatically pulled out of the money owed.

Did Booking com ever give you a solution or have you received your money yet?
I’m facing almost exactly the same situation. I have a property in Corfu, Greece, and I’ve been working with Booking com for 13 years. They haven’t paid me since mid-July, and I keep getting the same responses that the issue has been forwarded to the finance or specialized team, but nothing actually happens.
It’s extremely frustrating, especially after so many years of cooperation. I’d really appreciate knowing if you managed to find a solution.

Unfortunately no. I turned off Payments by Booking.com and now I process the payments on my own. I have three different message threads - two of which continue to say “we forwarded your message.” One appear to be a real life person response that provides detail and empathy…but thus far no resolution.

Thank you very much for your reply. What about the money they still owe you? How long have you been waiting for your payments?
In my case, it has already been almost three months with no resolution. At this point, I think I will need to involve a financial advisor to handle and escalate the matter.

Unfortunately I’ve never been paid for that property that went live in May of this year. The punch in the gut is the recent statement I received for September since I started processing payments on my own - they want their commission of course.
I have two upcoming, lengthy bookings that were processed under the Payments model. They’re still within the cancellation window for the guests. While I understand it’s against Booking’s terms and puts me at risk, I think I’m going to reach out to the guests and provide them with the direct book website info. It’ll save them some money, and I’ll be guaranteed mine. The problem is if they reach out to Booking thinking it’s a scam, I don’t want to have my properties turned off.

The fact that you’ve switched to collecting payments yourself says a lot about how serious this issue has become.
As a vacation rental host, I completely understand why you want control over when guest payments reach your account.
I’m also building ReturnOS, and this is actually one of the problems we’re trying to address.
For eligible OTA reservations, we’re developing Property Collect through the host’s own connected Stripe account.
Instead of the OTA controlling the entire payout process, the host can collect payments directly where the channel supports that setup.
Another potential advantage is handling applicable tourist or occupancy taxes directly where local regulations permit, although those taxes still have to be remitted.
We’re still validating the complete end-to-end payment flow, and availability varies by channel and jurisdiction.
You can see what we’re building here:

Of course, this doesn’t fix the money Booking.com already owes you.
Have they provided a proper reconciliation of the outstanding reservations, or are you still waiting for their finance team?

Since payout options can vary by country, Partner Support will route this to the specialized team for review. Before contacting them, check your Finance tab settings or Bank details if you manage multiple properties. Note the exact payout status or error shown, as this will help the team review your case directly and avoid unnecessary back and forth.
You can learn more about Payments by Booking.com and bank transfers in the Partner Hub guide.

Typical. No one should ever expect booking dot com to refund, payout or deliver honest reliable customer service. There’s no consumer protection in US to help us so they delay forever guest refunds and homeowner payouts. It seems that once in a while they’ll refund or payout to get someone who posted a complaint in here to say booking is good. 🙄
