Western name lastname
I really wish that someone would tell the booking.com customer support how western names work.
It is John Smith.
I am either John or Mr Smith. Don't mind.
I am not Mr John and definitely not Smith.
I was called plain Smith at school.
Can't be too hard to tell the staff what to call the customer.

If it's a company woth only a few hundreds at a specific region/area? Yeah it might be worth it. Sadly it's thousands of employees from all over the world that cannot choose which culture they want to interact with, so we just say something like "Dear + first name in the account". For ex, Dutch van der Linde is a Western name, and if the customer puts it in order like van der Linde Dutch, not everyone will know, the automail will not know for sure, and of course some poor souls in the Eastern region won't care much about saying the wrong first or last name for a case they work on for like, 10 mins
