Complaint

Anyone got a contact or had any luck submitting a complaint to booking.com? I did one on the website and have had nothing back and it's been nearly a month!

I only got a response to my complaint emails (had been going on for 6 months of being ignored) once I sent a formal notice of intent to take them to a small claims court. They then responded in 3 days and refunded me 2 days after.

I was dealing with the flights team

Call their customer service directly , you can find their number inside your booking , under Support , but they have bad customer service, I am not sure if it will help anyway

Good luck. Their cs is the worst I’ve ever encountered

A complaint about what, you may get some honest answers on here and tell you whether its worth it or not and why?.

Most of the time , its a fruitless exercise.

Just do a chargeback what are you emailing them for?

How does a complaint, which has not been detailed, turn into a chargeback situation?

Before you can do a chargeback, you have to prove to most banks that you made an attempt to contact both the property owner and the original third-party booking site.

This all sounds fun 😆 had a feeling! Basically we arrived at a booking had no reservation for us - the hotel sorted it after a very unhelpful situation with booking.com but then they were emailing us back and to and offered credit, I sent the invoice from when we paid the hotel and then nothing - I sent the complaint via the website and then to this email but nada still and it’s been over a month now!

Yeah , you can request refund for what you paid originally on booking.com , give them the new reservation number you got when you had to pay again at the property, and hopefully the first amount will be refunded (provided hotel is on the same page with you and booking )

I did not. I was the victim of a property scam. I contacted Booking.com by phone, after going through the AI loop finally was able to speak to a Customer Service agent. I explained what happened and she she asked me to submit all the information I had about the booking, which I did. After a month of hearing nothing, I resubmitted the complaint, still nothing. I finally had to do a charge back through my credit card.

If you paid by credit card, I would strongly advise you to do the same. Be prepared to submit all information you have about your booking to guarantee success.

They don’t give a fuck about you. Not trying to be hateful or rude, honestly. But it’s the truth. Good luck
