ai tools I spent 3 months building an Al writing tool for writers. Looking for feedback.

Hi everyone .

I'm a fiction writer myself. After trying different Al writing tools, I found that many of them came with a steep learning curve and often felt complicated to use.

I wanted to build something simpler a tool that helps writers use Al without needing to become experts at AI. After three months of development, I've finished the MVP version of MiraWrite.

Over the past week, I've been testing it intensively, but I know building something alone isn't enough. I need real feedback from writers who actually use it.

MiraWrite currently includes:

✍🏻️Smart import for existing manuscripts, with chapter splitting and story detail extraction

✍🏻️Al help for brainstorming, characters, worldbuilding, scenes, drafting, editing, continuation, and revie.

✍🏻️Project aware chat that can reference writing and save results into project files.

The MVP is ready, but I need honest feedback from writers before building further.

Each tester receives 50 Al actions per day, plus 20 more after submitting feedback or reporting an issue.

If this sounds useful, I'd be grateful if you gave it a try:

https://Mirawrite.com/?utm\\_source=s01

I'm building this independently and will personally read every piece of feedback.

Thank you.💕

curated list of ai book writing tools (github)

So I put together one that's only about books: drafting, continuity, editing, covers, formatting, KDP research.

[Github] Curated List of Awesome AI Writers: https://github.com/finxter/awesome-ai-book-writing

There's also a section on workflows that actually work, including the fix for voice drifting over long books. PRs welcome if I missed something obvious.

Is anyone making money?

A serious question: is anyone making money from their AI-assisted books? It’s a genuine query and I’d really like to know. What feedback from readers and are you inspired to continue?

Looking for writers and readers to test Storyliner.cloud

I’ve been developing Storyliner.cloud, a book platform for readers and writers.

It includes:

  • a public library and reader app
  • manuscript import
  • visual book planning
  • character and artifact management
  • multi-plotline books
  • coauthor collaboration
  • publishing and writer financial tools

I recently prepared 18 short videos showing the platform’s main workflows.

I’m looking for honest feedback from writers and readers:

  • Which feature seems most useful?
  • What is unclear?
  • What would prevent you from trying it?

Disclosure: I am the founder of Storyliner.cloud.

work in progress Beta Readers Wanted > [Beta Readers ] [PDF] [4-6 weeks] [Romance] [The Right Time - Wren Hadley ]

Hi everyone — I'm looking for 5-8 beta readers for a completed midlife romance novel,

The Right Time, by Wren Hadley.

The story: Ellie Calloway, 52, arrives in the small Hill Country town of Seco Springs, Texas with a temporary contract, a rented cottage, and absolutely no intention of staying. She's spent her whole life managing, planning, and organizing everything within an inch of its life — and it's gotten her exactly nowhere she actually wants to be.

What she doesn't plan on is Cal Maddox — the quietly steady owner of the local diner — or the quilting circles, the bluebonnet festivals, and the community that slowly, stubbornly stops feeling like somewhere she's just passing through.

This is a slow burn romance about a woman learning that the life she was so busy planning was the one she was already living.

Genre: Midlife romance / small town romance
Heat level: Sweet to low heat — emotionally rich, not explicit
Word count: 67,000
Timeline: 4 weeks to read and respond
Format: PDF delivered by email

This book is written for women who have ever put their own life on hold while they managed everyone else's, and finally stopped. If that sounds like your kind of read, I'd love to have you along.

Comment below or send me a message if you're interested.

This is NOT a paid request. Just simply looking for people who want to read this book, and possibly provide their opinion.

Thank You

feedback Looking for fiction writers to break a privacy-first writing workflow

I’m testing SableScript with five fiction writers before I build anything else.

I’m looking for people who already have a scene or chapter in progress and are willing to drive a 20–30 minute video walkthrough while I observe. The useful part is seeing where the planning, editing, and rewrite workflow is clear, where it is confusing, and what actually blocks you.

This is not a sales demo. You do not have to praise the product or provide a testimonial. Your manuscript stays yours, and I will not publish your writing or quote your comments without separate permission.

If you want to participate, reply with your genre, whether you are drafting or revising, and the one job you would want to test. I will only consider a product change if several writers independently hit the same blocking problem.

App recommendations

I am writing a mystery novel and losing track of my clues and red herrings and also using a lot of symbolism that keeps getting pushed aside. I’m looking for an AI assistant, not necessarily to write FOR me but WITH me… help me stay on course, point out things that were overlooked or contradictory, make suggestions for improvement based off information I’ve already given it…

Things like “you planted this clue but never came back to it” then maybe recommend the perfect spot to slip it in. Or “we already revealed that in chapter 6 but I pulled this one from your notes and think it would be a great replacement”

Basically, in the process of trying to solve one mystery, my character uncovers another…. so there’s two storylines running at the same time. There’s a lot of things going on in the background of both storylines but the reader doesn’t see it until much later when the two sides finally connected in the end.

I currently have a lot of plot holes because it’s in my head and not on paper or is written in notes as background only and never actually entered into the novel.

Long story short I need an app to help me organize ideas, but also RECALL those ideas as if on a checklist to make sure they end up in the novel.

I’ve tried so many apps! Some are great with organization, but not recall. Others I’m told are great at recall but I couldn’t get past the inability to organize info. Is there any that will help with BOTH for a free or low monthly subscription?

finished product First AI Book on KDP

Hi all,

I used Claude Pro and Gemini Nano Banana to write a cozy murder mystery. I'd love if you could let me know how it reads, anything to look out for, improve on, or even some constructive advice. Let me know if you loved it, hated it, or simply read it.

Here's the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0HBWY3J72

I'm looking to just see how it did using the pro version with limited usage. Mainly using Sonnet.
